Cam's going to go to aftercare, at least for a little while today. If I get out exactly at 2pm and there's no traffic on the way home, I could probably make it home in time to catch the bus (his bus gets to our house around 2:30), but since I'm going with my boss, there's always the likelihood of him wanted to discuss stuff after this meeting and I don't want to have to tell him I have to run. So it's safer to just have him go to aftercare for a little bit.

Thanks for the nice welcome home.

Thur we got in in the evening went to Epcot to get my temp DDE card and ate in Mexico (just counter service). Rode nemo before we left.

Friday was Magic Kingdom--ate at CP with the group. Waits were not bad at all. Maybe 30 minutes at most. Evan rode Space Mountain for the first time and he loved it!

Saturday was Epcot. I didnt think the crowds were bad. we got there early and did TT a CM let us ride again :thumbsup2 We also got some FP for later. Also did Soarin a few times thanks to FP and baby swap.

Sunday--AK. the place was packed. We did EE 3 times with our FP and baby swap. Evan loved it every time. Did Dinosaur and Triceratops Spin, ate and left. Went to room a little while then to MGM. Did ToT and Star Tours. Ate at Beaches and Cream.

Monday was MGM--a bigger crowd but still got to do what we wanted. We ate at Sci Fi. Then shopped at DtD and had dinner at HOB.

Tues we slept in and then left.

It was more crowded I think than last year.

Welcme home Deena...glad you had fun, sounds like the boys really enjoyed themselves...did they have fun with the other kiddoes? Isn't it nice when the waits aren't too long? At least you only had one park that seemed packed. You are welcome for the birthday gift, glad you can put it to good use.

Bob, glad you worked things out with your boss too to scoot home after the seminar. Taxes.......ick.......hate thinking about them...we have so many
W2's to round up this year. Got the one from work here, but the others are slow to trickle in. Like I said, ICK.......such a necessary evil and like death, you can't avoid taxes.....;) those 2 things are sure things in life.

KS, I'm sorry you miss you Dad so much, I understand. Mine has been gone 17 yrs. in March. He was VERY strict with me....

Pam, are you warmed up yet?

Going to finish eating my cereal

Kelli's (mom2ashli) dd Ashli was so sweet. She was crazy about Evan and Connor. Kept telling Connor how cute he was and hugging him. She wanted to take them both home with her. She was walking around saying she liked this brother thing :teeth:

The kids got along well.

Hey remember me, I lost power at 10am on Monday Morning, I got it back at 12 noon today ya thats 50 hrs without power. It got to 4 degrees this morning. Thankfully for some reason when I lost power I went by Lowes at 1 o'clock and bought a generator and that kept my pellet stove and lights on but if I still had no water because I have well water and didn't know how to get it to work off the generator. But it kept some heat and lights and TV on. If the lights didn't come on today I was going to give up and stay at a hotel, I couldn't spend another night on the couch and not be able to flush the toilet or take a hot shower.

You could have came and stayed with us!!;) I would have let you all in!!!:)

I'm glad you got everything back up and running. Isn't it amazing how much stuff we take for granted until it doesn't work anymore?!

Oh Ed, wow, sorry to hear you went through that...glad you had heat though, that would have been awful without at least heat...I remember we had no power a couple years ago around Christmas and it was like that long and we had no heat, it was darn cold!! Did you have snow or an ice storm?

KS....I love Pee Wee doing the "dance"..:rotfl:

Pam.........it isn't as cold here as there, but we are feeling it as its been so warm around here........brrrrrrrrr

GET THE LEAD OUT PEOPLE...IT'S COLD, IT'S TIME TO GET UP...MOVE IT, MOVE IT....

It's a whopping 20 degrees here, which is a heat wave for some of you:goodvibes but it's cold from what we've been having...brrr....my tea is tasting good right about now.

Ok, gotta run..........keep the faith....and remember "Love is a Battlefield"....LOL...it's a song I just heard from years ago, love Pat Benetar:cool1:

I'm up, I'm up!!! It was hard to pull myself out of bed this morning....i have my heated matress pad on and my bed was waaarrrrmmmmm!!!

Morning all!

bob--how was the meeting yesterday??

mic-- tomorrow let me have an extra 5 minutes okay?!?!;) when are you going to go and see your mom again?

ks--is your son home from his honeymoon now?

mac--are you going back to work now?

ed--how did the shower feel this morning? good thing you had that generator!

gant--hope you give us a quickie today!

deena--do you have a lot of :laundy: to catch up on?!

uggghh....i have a house full today. I have the kid that is going to be 4 next tuesday and is NOT potty trained yet!:crazy2: He only comes one or two days a week. I almost had him trained and then the lazy parents didn't stick with it at home and i lost any progress i had on him sooooo I gave up with him. I am thinking that they don't want him to get trained because then he would have reached another milestone. He is their only child and they had him later because everyone was telling them that they couldn't have kids. Sometimes I hate dealing with parents!!!!:sad2:

morning drive by...

poor ed, that really sucks, big time!

off to take mom on yet another sojurn to the drs...

hope everyone stays toasty today!

pam - ds did return from honeymoon!

mic -did you hear about (can't remember the name of carrier or which cities, know PIT is one) offering service to BWI for $39! Perhaps you or familyl can hop on that deal.

to quote him... I'm the world's bestest mom, and will i give them points to stay same time next year:confused:

have a good one, back later!

Got me some work to hop on here, so I'll be away for a bit today....

Pam, we leave 2/27 til 3/6....I'm looking forward to it for sure

KS...isn't it nice being the bestest mom??:goodvibes there are few of us around that hold that title:thumbsup2

Ok, just for Pam, 5 extra minutes tomorrow morning. Oh yuck, not potty trained at 4? I think that is stretching it a little. I'm so happy grandson #2 was so easy, he was pretty much "on to it" by his second birthday. He was excellent while he was visiting with us, cause I thought maybe the change in his routine would throw him off, but he did good. I guess different strokes for different folks, that is one milestone that I would wish to reach, regardless :goodvibes

Hi gang !! Just checking in before I head to met OCM and kids for breakfast at O'Hanna. Weather is fine and we are having a blast. Sorry some of you are having nasty weather.......See ya soon.

Thats just sad of them to hold the kid back because they cant deal. My friend has a neighbor who never cuts her sons hair because the longer hair makes him look more babyish. The dang kid is 5 I think and he looks like a girl his hair is so long

I try really hard to not project my hangups on my kids. Connor is my baby and is almost 5 but it would be a huge diservice to him to treat him like he is still a baby.

I dont think I could deal with those kinds of parents Pam.
