pam - matt damon's a bit young for me lol, glad your son's team is doing better. My boy has school off tomorrow but a basketball game is still scheduled (the other team attends school on MLK day & it's an inner city one...go figure lol).

mic - enjoy your "lost" weekend i've got a giant basket full of clean, white socks that need sorted ; family keeps pleading with me lol...soon!

ks--I have two sons playing basketball. Trent is a 6th grader and his team is lacking something and haven't won a game. Noah is a 3rd grader and it was his first game yesterday and it seems that they are one of the better teams.

gant--i'm glad your team won! I am not one to follow football so I will cheer for whoever you tell me to!

I haven't done a dang thing yet today either...think i am going to go and shower then maybe....just maybe I will get something done...i know it will be hindered by trent's basketball game at 3:30 so i probably shouldn't even start anything

Evening all....glad your team pulled it out Gant... dh is watching the other game right now......his team was beyond help this year, the 'Skins, so he not sure who he is rooting for

Took a nice nap this afternoon..watched some TV, fixed my lunch for the next 3 days eating a little salad and I'm back to doing nothing for the evening, figure may as well not ruin a perfectly good weekend by trying to do something productive at this point.

DS is at his new computer, they got that all put together so the men folk are entertained and quiet.

i've threatened to start marking the toes of each sock w/a sharpie in code (as in each person's name & style of sock)

mic - new computer in the house, cool! I hate fighting for screen time.

pam, sr moment...got your boys missed up; you are surrounded by kids lol.

lost the seahawk game too, rootin for chargers now , have never forgiven NE for knocking the Steelers out of the playoffs many years ago.

mac's probably still celebrating the Bears' win.

thought it was going to be good for trent's team today BUT they ended up losing in the 4 quarter. Seems they forgot how to pass!

Mic--sounds like you did a little something...making lunch for a few days takes a little bit of work!!

ks--i HATE sorting socks too...aubrey likes to do that so I let her

Looks like while some of the ladies are traveling several of us females will be left to entertain our handsome dudes for a couple days....

All I did was make 3 salads for lunch Pam...I like to have that done, they stay good in my Tupperware. I also have been taking my cereal with me to work, so I bowled that up too and put my Clementines aside, so I can rock and roll in the morning. Monday's I always have a hard time gettin' my motor running......

I also downloaded some songs to my mp3 player, so see I wasn't totally unproductive...and that took about 10 minutes tops...took me longer to find the songs I wanted than to download them...LOL...think I'm gonna watch a couple of my old soap clips on WMP....then as KS knows, Rome starts back tonight Not sure if I'm gonna watch it or just watch in on tape....see how tired I feel by 9.....or how involved I am in watching my clips online...

edited to add: I did a little online shopping today, so that was productive...LOL...I ordered two bandanas for my doggie, Valentines and St. Patty's Day...he is one well garbed pooch

It is COLD here this morning! I think it is -5 out right now with a windchill of
-15 out! Poor Dave...i have him outside snowblowing for me!! What a guy!
The kids have a 2 hour late start today so everything will be all out of wack today i'm sure.

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was entirely to short!!!

Wow, a year!!! You know, everyone told me the older you get the more time just flies by.....i'm finding that sooooo true!! I just got a letter in the mail about my 15 year class reunion I can't it will be 15 years...boy am I OLD!!!

I think we only got about 3 to 4 inches of snow but i am sure it will stick around since it is suppose to be so cold this week. Last week they were telling us we could get 26 inches...i kinda wish we would have gotten more so the kids could go out and play in it.

Right now, it's raining and 50 here, but they're calling for the temps to drop and the rain to turn into snow. Nothing like getting an inch of rain and then having the temp drop to freezing.

I'm right there with ya...i hate it when the temps drop!!!! I rather get alot of snow than the freezing rain/ice storm.

time is flying by here today!
I almost forgot to make lunch for the kids today! Dave asks me "what's for lunch today?" I looked at the clock and realized it was 11:30...that is what time they usually eat...i start making it at 11am

I guess that is what I get when I send my kids to school at 10 am instead of 8am!
