As TVT said, TGIAF....almost being the operative here......and I'm taking Monday off, so it's gonna be a little extra beauty rest.

Ed - WHOO HOO..a day off!! I get half a day off since all three are in school..but I have so much stugff to do it doesn't really count.

Pam - did you enjoy the weather yesterday? Could you send it this way please?

Mic - It's suppose to be nice here this wekeend too. Nico has two soccer games, so i really hope it warms up. Your family is still in my prayers.

Mac - have a safe trip. We'll be thinking of you.

Keisha - I'm telling you..you shoudl come play with us in Jan. You can just tag along with the newlyweds!!

Morning all!

The weather was beautiful here yesterday...not as nice today but still may just be outside weather again....i like it when it is outside weather...the kids are sooo good when they can run and be outside!

My mom called last night and said that my dad was in the hospital. She told me about how last week he hurt his leg and yesterday it was all swelled. Well, i guess he has a blood clot in the calf of his leg. He did get to come home last night but has to be at the dr. office this morning to get 2 shots and a pill. I guess he has to do that for the next couple of days.
They were going to leave this morning to go to texas for the Nebraska/ Texas A&M game. I have a cousin down there and a few of my aunts and uncles and my mom and dad were going to go see them and then go to the game.

mac--hope everything is okay!

mic--you are taking monday off?!?!? Well, that is just NOT fair!!!!

tony--what else can you not say on the dis?

bob--did you say what movie you took cam and his friends to?

ed--it is your friday!!!

ks--where was my lunch yesterday? I was sitting here waiting for you!

HEY!! That joke wasn't very funny!! I think Ed, or MR I USED TO BE A BLONDE, just turned into a brunette so he could tell blonde jokes.

Pam - talk to me in the summer!! I have all the kids all day long (well, expcept for all the camps and things) but still. It's a lot of work!

ocm - my DS said he'd luv to have me along...not too sure about my DIL. Since they're already playing house it shouldn't matter anyway .
I try to keep my big trap shut but, they're getting a puppy (pug) today I believe...they emailed me pics of my "grandchild".

Whenever any of my sons are getting ready to pull something that they know I won't like, they have one of their siblings tell me when they're not around. For a myramid of reasons, don't think they should get one right now (responsibility issues, upcomiing holidays, wedding, honeymoon, apt has new white w/w carpet, think their lease prohibits pets...). I've already gotten stuck w/2 discarded pets, don't need anymore since I've already got 3 cats & 2 dogs. Stay tuned for all the gory details.

My mom ended up with a dog that I got at first. but you know, she and my dstep father love that dog. i really think she (the dog) was one of the best things that happened to them. They always laugh when they tell the story of how I asked them to keep her for a few months and never came back for her, but when I offer to take her now.."Oh no..we love that dog."

But I could see not wanting to make a habit out of collecting pets.

East of me there was an area that got hit pretty hard. I think the news said 6 homes and part of a couple apartment complexes were destroyed....No serious injuries which is a good thing. My area got some heavy rain and that's about all.

Pam, I'm sorry about your Dad, and he will be in my prayers now...wow, we have a lot of ill parents circulating right now, but thankfully we all have each other for support and prayers...my MIL is still in the hospital, working on getting meds adjusted, so maybe today will be the day she makes it home.

My son recently said "we are getting a new addition to the family"...me, being me thought, oh boy, another dog...well, how foolish to think practical, they got the boys a desert snake!! not large but still, I don't want any snakes for grandchildren he is called Hector

Bob did say the name of the movie he took the kids too, but I forgot what it's called, cause Ed is taking his boys if it is appropriate...see, I DO pay attention.......even if I am blonde and operate on just one brain cell
