can't sleep

dropped by to tuck you all into bed.

tony starts the mornings early so you all need your beauty sleep... :teeth:

HEY WAKE UP !!! I SAW PROOF THE ELECTIONS ARE OVER THID MORNING ON THE WAY TO WORK!

I PASSED 2 GAS STATIONS CHANGING GAS PRICES....WENT FROM $2.06 YESTERDAY TO $2.15 THIS MORNING..... :sad2:

I KNEW THE LOWER PRICES WERE TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.....

morning all

yea, i might miss those phone calls that come at all times of the day from laura and george....

gotta wait another 2 years for them to start again.

going to clean the dump today.... :teeth:

tony, we had 2 days of cheap gas of $2.07 10 days ago.

we were back at $2.28 some days ago.

you still have cheap gas.

fill up the soda bottles and water bottles with gas so you'll save some money over the next few weeks.....

so you all need your beauty sleep

perhaps if I could sleep for 6 months straight it might help me on the beauty end..... :rotfl:

Yes, the election is over, so perhaps my phone will quit ringing with automated phone calls...thought legislaters fought to get us do not call lists established, yet THEY can spam your phone to death :confused3 I had 5 messages from political crap on my ANSWERING machine...I do my homework as far as politics go and don't like the endless badgering (sorry KS...I know you are very politically minded, but it drives me nuts)

Gas has risen here in the last week or so......just in time for holiday travel

Well, raining and yucko, so guess its a good day to spend at work, see ya later

Morning!

mic - ya-hoooo, support your local political machine:goodvibes , surprised as to the number of people who live near DC & are employed by govt. or contractors who don't vote:confused3 , familiarity breed contempt perhaps?

mac - i still don't get whatever they're promoting, i didn't see any special magic getting doled out during my last trip...although a few people had those FP lanyards good for 1 ride on the headliners. I'm always the last to know, anything...see fried turkeys:rotfl: . I do know what fried ice cream is-yumm.

Before we left my DS ran down to the CR gift shop to buy many bags of Chip n Dale pretzels to keep him in stock over the winter. He got rewarded w/a "special" trading pin by a CM for having "good manners":teeth: ; she asked him not to trade it, etc. Another time in Epcot, he got sucked into picking up trash that CMs had dumped in a snit, all the kids got a reward certificate...my guy passed. He had already found the key under the mat @ Muppets & gotten one.

pam - glad the study went quickly, hope all is well:wizard:

tvt - cynic lol...ours went up yesterday on election day.

We had people knocking on our door to get out the vote the night before (about 8:45 p.m. & yesterday afternoon around 3:00 p.m...strange).

ocm - how about dessert(s)...what are you having? I'd kill to find the recepie for the wheat/cranberry???rolls they serve @ Crystal Palace. If anyone has it let me know. I've searched in the disney cookbooks & online but, no luck.

Got to haul my family around today...podiatrist again, then the $ store; DS to orthodontist & CCD...anyone got any dry cleaning that needs picked up while I'm out?

Good morning everyone. I hope you all had an enjoyable evening. After going back over the last posts....I'm getting hungry for fried turkey but even hungrier for Keisha's pierogis & halupki. If you throw in some kielbasa I would be indebted to you.

Yep, I was able to get out and vote yesterday after work. We only had a possible 6 selections to make and it looks like I went 1 and 5. Oh well, I hope they do a good job but I won't be holdiing my breath.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Pierogi's are dumplings filled with potato or cheese or a combination of the two. Halupki are stuffed cabbage rolls. :)

I assume you know what kielbasa is :thumbsup2

Morning all :)

Oh, so this in my neck of the wood i believe is called a runza!!

Yes i know what a kielbasa is!

Thanks for explaining it...i know i can be just a little blonde sometimes :teeth:

Speaking of blonde....you know what my oldest son came home and asked me yesterday????

How do you get a blonde to drowned? You put a scratch and sniff sticker on the floor of a swimming pool! :guilty:

KS, I wanted the dressing recipe they use at O'Hana's, you know the honey lime, and I found that one, but wanted another recipe my dh had someplace, can't even remember where now, so I wrote a letter addressed to the head chef at that restaurant/resort, and he answered and sent me the recipe :cool1: Worth a try if you feel like trying. Now a place like CP where they have a buffet, I wonder how much is "homemade" and how much they bring in semi-prepared. Just food for thought

Yeah, I haven't check all election results, but I think I may have gone 3 or 4 for a zillion, we had all kinds of stuff on our ballets...I did like the touch screen stuff this time, made it easier. Our little world is coming of age :thumbsup2

Oh, I love kielbasa......I've been doing it on the grill, yummmmm

I've heard those fried turkeys are wonderful, never had it myself. I will be doing the dinner with all the fixins' so I will be busy for sure. I make a pretty good turkey dinner, not as good as MIL, but if she was even thinking of doing it, with her current health, I don't see it happening...so we will take them dinner. Hopefully she will be home today, they kept her overnight again for more tests.......every Dr./hospital loves a test  And I do want to thank each of you that thought of me and my family and said you would say a little prayer for us, I REALLY appreciate it and am thankful for my friends here. Little update, my Mom is struggling along with her broken shoulder, we go day by day with it hoping for it to heal.

Pam the house business is a little slow right now. Hopefully we will find something we like soon.

Guess Im going to be in bad mood today. Im stuck with Rick Perry again :guilty:

Where I went to vote I walked in stated my name...signed in and went and voted...took me 15 minutes from the time i got out of my car till i got back in my car! :teeth: I went a 4pm...before everyone got off work...i bet if i would have went at 5 or 5:30 it would have been really busy.

mic--i'm sorry to hear that your mom isn't healing well. I hope she starts doing better!

They were quick to process us when we walked in to the polls, it was just the wait for a machine....but it's all over, so all is good...and my guyis Governer! I like picking a winner once in a while...
