Ok everybody get after OCM, she won't listen to me. She says she has had a headache since last night. She was in bed at 8:30 last night!

Still killing her this morning....says it is so bad it hurts if she moves. I'm thinking migrane......I told her to see a doctor.....BUT SHE WON'T LISTEN to me......you guys try....

bob - we used to venture up to Presque Isle several times each summer...if I squinted I could almost imagine I was @ the beach! Quit our trips a couple years ago; large fish kill on beach (even the gulls wouldn't eat them...eww). Local said they had been there for a week, yuck. The smell is something I won't forget...such a shame. Thought about visiting again this summer but, the beaches were closed by health dept? Good thing we've got a pool.

I was a lifeguard at Presque Isle for a couple summers. Seemed like more than 1/2 the people I'd talk to were Pittsburghers (those without pools, I assume :teeth: ).

we learn more and more about bob....a past lifeguard huh??? Did any girls pretend to drowned for you to save them?!?!

KS has her own matey....woohoo:rotfl: yep, when he's good I trot out my minnie mouse costume:banana: (can you imagine what their kids would look like lol).

tvt - despite a rousing shout out I still feel back asleep this am; on a roll this year so far.

pam - got papers! yea...used to do books for a daycare facility; heard many tales of woe from the sub-contractors...isn't easy to pass muster...congrats to you, must run a "tight ship"!

mic - sorry the beeeeitch is giving you a hard time...what is her problem (hopefully, the crap is running downhill due to her own ineptness, premonition that she'll soon be outta the door:wizard: )

hope all you sicko's (that sounded harsh) feel better real soon!

tight ship...not really...just organized and have all my hours i need. You know, to be an emt you have to have 10 hours of inservice per year but to be a daycare provider you have to have atleast 12 hours a year. Now, to me being an emt is much more important than being a daycare provider!!:confused3

Anyway, I really like our state lady now...she is very daycare provider friendly but still gets her job done!

my suggestion would be to take some advil. that really seems to get rid of my headaches. If it gets worse and she can't stand it anymore then I would go into the doctor.

I know mic takes excedrin for her headaches and that works for her i believe.

Unfortunately, the only people I seemed to ever have to save was the little kid who somehow forgot that they can't swim very well RIGHT AFTER they jumped off the diving board into 10 feet of water. :sad2: :sad2:

Although I was on our college swim team when I first met Nicole -- that couldn't have hurt. Damn, I was in some seriously good shape back then. :teeth:

where were the parents when they jumped off the boards?!?! If it were my kids jumping i would have freaked!

Weren't we all in good shape back when?!?! I vow to get back in that good of shape one of these days!!!

I took 4 Aleive. The pain is still there, but at least the feeling that I was about to throw up everytime I moved has subsided.:thumbsup2

sweets, maybe your sugar level is low and that is why you get the sickeining head ache.

i get those when i diet and restrict myself.

drink a hot cup of tea with a couple of tsp of sugar in it.

headeaches respond to caffeine.

also your electrolytes might be off so drink gatoraide, or white soda pop

I'm outta the chamber......:thumbsup2

First things first...Momma, you either have a migraine OR you are getting the flu....if it is the migraine, you need something like Excedrin as it has caffeine which is what minimizes the effects of migraines..but you just took all that Aleave, so don't take anything just yet...plus you shouldn't be taken anything on an empty stomach...try to get a little something down...Nurse Mickey4ver done preaching:lmao: Feel better

Pam, you knew you would ace the state bird dropping by and be good to go for the year...I know you are an awesome day care provider.

Mac, feeling better and things better on the home front?

KS...ohhh baby, dragging out the costume to treat the Mr....you iz gonna be on the good wife list:cool1:

Bob, a lifeguard, how sexy is that??? Between you and Ed, you have colorful backgrounds:goodvibes

Tony, what can we say, sometimes us gals just get up on the wrong side of the bed and we just want to b...th....well you get my drift:flower3: I'll make up the attitude to ya later gator......:rolleyes1

My meeting wasn't so bad...I was steeled for the worse, and she actually was pretty nice to me today. Seems they are keeping me in mind as we grow to move into another position if I stay, so that was good news, a little unexpected, so .... yes, our office manager get's "some" but obviously not enough:rotfl: But to hear her tell it, she has the perfect husband:eek: but I think that is because he is afraid of her...LOL...actually, he is a pretty nice guy

Ok, here come some customers...more later....suddenly I'm feeling like Pam...quite chatty........

you know mic, you are the shining star in that office you run.....

feeling better after a 24 hour or more of sickness.
the balance portion was the worse of my illness but only one episode this morning so i think it is about behind me.

go ahead and yak mic, i'm all ears.....

where is keisha now?

haven't seen her around the boards much since i came on.

i wanted to ask her a question about her favorite team the knicks.

Guess I yakked myself out on that last post, cause I can't think of anything to yak about now....:scared1: give me time, I'll think of something

Ok, to perk up the ladies..........

bob's new pics are way cute.

looks like one will be a football player and the other a doctor someday.

Thanks guys :) :)

My mom would like Cam to be a doctor one day (thus, the Christmas present). In her mind, the only thing for smart kids to become are doctors and lawyers. Cam's said he wants to be an architect, though. :thumbsup2

Ryan would likely make a great football player if his Mom will let him play one day -- she's a little protective (as all Mom's are) and not real anxious to sign one of her babies up for a contact sport. Then again, the way he's growing, we're better off letting him loose on other kids rather than us. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

PLEASE DON'T AY THE "G" WORD!!!

And OCM listen to Mac......I told ya to go ahead and get a coke this moring and see if that helped and to grab a candy bar. You need SUGAR......don't make me come up there and spank you ...OH WAIT...I don't have to....you are coming here in 3 days......I'll bust your backside then...

Nico is dying to play ice hockey. So we are starting skating lessons. I'm not looking forward to it, but better that they be in contact sports than other things. The sooner we get them in sports, the better their skills will be at them during teenage years.

It's an ice hockey program they have here that he will start. He needs to skate for 3 seasons. Once he has mastered all of that and is still interested, they will move him to start hockey.By 7 he will be in the league if he does well on skates. I would rather him stick to football..tell Nicole she is getting off easy with that.

As for the headaches..it seems to come and go. But there is a lot less pressure than there was this morning. I may sip on a soda to get some sugar and caffine in me. That way, if Mic and Mac are both right, it will help. Thanks you guys.
