but, I'll have to poke my DH to go to & hate the though of that drama...like to pick my battles on the home front.

TGIF!!!! What is everyone's weekend plans?

Mine you ask?! Well, tonight i think we are going to the high school football game. Sat. I get my hair done...say goodbye to the blonde...it's going darker!! I am thinking along the lines of a light brown with some strawberry blonde mixed in....what do ya think?! Then we are off to Lincoln for some shopping. Sunday all we have is trent's football game...then we can just sit around and do nothing!

keisha--i know i would want to be there for my sister/brother if they lost an inlaw. We are a pretty close bunch and most of the time we all get along great. I would probably go visit but that is me...try to keep peace whenever possible. Do whatever you feel is right and what you would want done if tables were turned. Good luck on your decision!

ed - sounds like a nice trip for a wedding (now, I'll be humming "nice day for a white wedding" all day lol; my eyes hurt; how does one obtain that color?

pam - you'll always be blonde to us . I've been going with foils & 3 different colors of highlights: one to match my roots, blonde & a carmel...every one sez it looks nice/more natural. This way, even though my hair grows very fast, I can get 3 months or more out of a dye job. sometimes, I just have a few foils done around root line to extend it even more...post us a pic!

Morning all

Good weekend planned here. Tonight, Nicole and I are going out for dinner and a show with some friends of ours. Saturday, swimming and soccer. Saturday night we're taking the boys to the Indians game. Sunday, Mass and brunch and taking care of stuff around the house (like cutting the lawn).

Funny thing...my friends always tell me that I can change my hair color but the blonde runs to deep.. My best friends dh actually calls me blondie. It has been June since i got my hair done...my hair blends pretty good so i can go awhile too.
I will try to post some picutes...not promising anything..but i will try!

Your hair sounds really cute! One of my friends just got her hair done with 3 colors and it turned out awsome. I will have 3 colors if i count the blonde that is in my hair right now.

I love comedy clubs! We have one in Omaha that we go to...the have this hypmotist there that is really funny...he can get dirty, but he is really funny!

Wow Pam - go for it. Light brown will probably look really good on you. I tried it..although, not on purpose once. You never know until you try. I wouldn't try strawberry blonde before you try brown. Just my opinion but red is harder to get out of hair than brown would be.

I have to do that here this weekend too. I was going to do it last night when STBXH got home from work. But, it rained..so I am waiting for the grass to dry.

Good evening everyone. Sorry I haven't been on lately. Major shakeup at my workplace. A manager for 2 major departments got the axe on Monday. 90 percent of the work just happend to be dumped onto my plate with no extra human resources. Had a quick staff meeting and my folks stepped up to the plate. The VP called me yesterday (first time I ever spoke to him) and told me he was impressed with me and my staff and our hard work did not go unnoticed up above. I am just blessed to have the people I have working for me.

Just scratching the surface, I've found work that was requested months ago by customers that had not been addressed. This manager had been neglecting her duties for months. There is a lot of work to be done but we are well on the way. The 2 new departments I have are asset management and move coordination. I just hope I can get more resources so my current staff does not get burned out.
