i always had my boys suck on a lemon when they got bit and swelled.

OUCH KS....hope you squished that little devil for stinging you Feeling better? Knock on wood (that would be my head)...I've only ever been stung by a bee one time that I can remember...they don't seem to like me........nor have I ever taken poison ivy....not that I would roll around in a field of it or anything, but I know I've been exposed to it before.

Time to cut outta here......thank the lord.........

seems as though I'm always doing things to sabatoge myself, natural born klutz.

can't say I've had any problems w/poison ivy, always make the family rub down in alcohol when they've been in the woods, seems to work.

Evening...been watching TV most of the evening and took a short nappy...I didn't sleep well last night, so it caught up with me around 7 p.m.

KS, the new girl seems ok..her computer is on the fritz til tomorrow, so she actually spent the day helping me, and learning to answer the phone and handle calls and customers...as she will be back up. All the ladies in the office have to learn to back me up...special ain't I? She did real well, I believe she is used to phones from her previous work. She seems nice, she is 30ish, with 2 elementary aged kids, divorced but has a boyfriend. She seems to be like she has "real" world background, not a fluffy kinda person. I guess the one thing that creeps me out though is the tongue ring can't say I'm a fan of that stuff....but to each their own. She really hasn't dug into her real work yet, til they get her computer fixed and train her some...but she did a lot of stuff for me today so that was nice!!

I'm hoping Toby or Magni........the girls don't do it for me....yep, Tommy is hot...and yes, he is the the only one of three that has "star-ability"..did you hear them say Dave was going to tour with them...if their original songs they are playing are any indication of what is to come, they will need another act to play along with them

Good to hear about the new co-worker knowing what end is up. Tongue ring - ew, that would half to hurt. There was a woman on wife swap with one of those surgically altered/split tongues who was quite proud of her ability to pick things up with it. I changed the channel very quick like before the demonstration.

It was the most discouraging thing for me to re-enter the work force after a lapse & have some snot nosed punk giving orders , nothing constructive, just barking orders for the sake of being in charge.napoleon complex...I didn't last long there

hi friends, sorry i am late.
this is the first i am up today and on the computer.
i have meniere's disease and came down with the vertigo big time yesterday evening.
i'm only going to be around for less than one hour right now.

started the meds this morning but it takes awhile for them to give relief.



of all the days for me to be ill.

3 pots of coffee and all for ME!!!!!

mac - yikes, what horrible news (& timing for you), so sorry! Hope the meds work real quick & you're back to speed soon!

I developed vertigo a few years ago after I had a bad cold, slamming into the wall when I got out of bed in the am was the clue. They pumped me full of various drugs & I was glad to feel better in a few days, no side effects after a week or so.

really sorry for you, get some rest.

KS, I know what you mean about people barking orders...my office manager can be a you know what when she wants...she says some very cutting things sometimes and it's all I can do to hold my tongue...hey, maybe if I had one of those split one's I could bad mouth her and she wouldn't understand me... Today was one of those days that she made some comment my way and it had me fuming inside...I just wanted to say "why do you have to act like a ditch some days?" I'm hoping the new girl works out...she is learning and seems to be catching on...I was thinking of asking to try out for the position, but I thought I couldn't stand the office manager being on my case all the time, for the most part I'm on my own out in the front, so I kinda like it that way Being picked at all the time wasn't worth the small raise it would mean.....I'm working on getting a couple more bucks for what I'm doing right now anyway.

Yes, that whole "we love you Storm, we love your song, you are awesome, but we are voting you off" was rather lame. I'd rather have seen Dilana go first, then Storm....I just can't see a girl fronting this band. But then, I'm not crazy about the music they are putting forth, so it doesn't really matter, it's just a show to entertain me.

Ok, off to relax a little bit. I'm glad tomorrow is Friday... For a short week, it took forever for Friday to show up

Wow, i have sure missed you all! Sneaking a few minutes from trent's room before bedtime!
I was going to go up and get my computer on Sat. BUT now we are going to the husker game on Sat. so I am hoping to make it to Omaha on Sunday...all i know is that I am having serious withdrawls!!!!!!!! thinking about doing computer rehab

I am so far behind and don't have time to read up...i'll do that during naptime next week

sorry i am a bummer on my posts. i really should be cheerful and make jokes. since this is my family, i thought i could share with you on how lousy i am right now.

mr mac is going away in the morning for a 2 night, 3 day bike ride with a friend. i have to get bri packed up and leave monday morning at 4:30 am for the airport on monday. since mr mac won't be back home until noon that day, i have to drive son to ohare.

just keep me in your thoughts.

oh yes, and get your **** out of bed now and tidy up tony's bedroom when you leave for work.
