the sound and special effects were good,
i was a fan of the Posiedon Adventure and got my older DD hooked on too,
so we wanted to see it,

in general it wasn't as good as the first, but the technology was better.

if you don't want to spend $10.00 on it , it's a worth it to wait for cable.
which will probably be in a month anyway!

when & if you do see it tell me so we can talk about it :thumbsup2

you know i never really noticed him before. until this movie!

he looked so good in a suit/tux :goodvibes

i'll be watching him from now on!

LOL..let's face it, the original flick is just that "original", can't really repeat the success of it.

What got me wanting to see this one, they had a trailer playing on the TV's in Costco last night, and I knew Kurt was in it, but when I saw Josh (whom I loved in Sweet Home Alabama), that about sealed the fact I wanted to see it. If I whine enough, dh will go with me to see it.....he is easy ;)

MJ, he is looking pretty hot in "Executive Decision" also, it is several years old, but always worth a watch. It makes the rounds of the cable movie channels every now and again...............

well, maybe not everytime but i try to catch parts of it when it is on.

and if i am not playing on the internet......

I would count Overboard as one of my favorites, never tire of watching it. It is a really funny movie. I can watch Sweet Home Alabama over and over too.

Ok, guess I'll go watch TV now that I've got myself primed with all this movie talk...will catch up on some of my Big Valley's I've DVR'd...... :happytv: pitiful huh? What can I say, I like old TV shows and Lee Majors was kinda cute in his "day" also :goodvibes

to quote an infamous dumb blonde...Kurt Russell is HOT!

was, is now & ever shall be.

Don Johnson ala Miami Vice/Mice used to be pretty hot but, he hasn't aged too well IMO.

Team came back w/a vengence tonight. They cried for an end to their suffering in the 4 inning...can you say 23 to 4. DS had not one but TWO hits - the lumberyard is back.

A clean dog beats a dirty 'ole dog any day of the week, especially if they have sweet breath. I just discovered something called Greenies(?), look like a toothbrush & smell minty - my two luv them & they work.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one stimulating the economy. Anyone else play the reward game with CCs. I switch my cards around every year or so to get zero/low interest offerings on those I can't payoff. DS's upcoming nuptials/honeymoon are breaking the bank for me. Hope #2 waits awhile before he gets any ideas.

Crossed church off our list. So far Sunday looks like a laundry day - all day...piles of it as far as I can see. Haven't done any for a few days but, cannot believe we wore all that clothing.

woo hoo ks, your son is a winner....2 hits. bet that made his day.

no pics of miss pamela anderson lee's aubry here yet.
tapping foot impatiently..........

it got so cool here last night, i had to run one cycle of the furnace this morning. had to take the chill out of the house.

going to church later today, yea it is not even 6 so i have plenty of time.

hope you get the laundry done ks.
how many more sleeps for you before you hit the motherland??

deena, ocm................are you home????

when i went to catholc church no cared if you showed up

i got 2 calls last week to see if everything was okay.
i'm not used to people being so nice :rotfl:

hi muffy.

well gang, looks it wil be a good week.

going to church in a few minutes.

got you all covered for the week.
and, muffy is helping out the cause today also.

just for extra assurance, i go to church sunday night also.......... :rolleyes1

guess what....... popcorn:: has been fixed and working now.

Good Morning Everybody hope you are having a good weekend.

KS Glad your DS had a good game, my sons got rained out again but they are going to try to get in today.

Muffy I went last week so I covered for you, and you've got my back this week thanks. :)

And Mac always has me covered.

Pam how those pics coming.

Good morning my friends.........glad to know we have such caring friends and they are watching for us at church :goodvibes thank you so much!!

AH, a slamming baseball game, good for the son with his 2 hits. Sorry you got rained out Ed, but makeups will happen when you have something else you need to do... :teeth: ;)

KS, you are right about Don Johnson...he was hot and that is another of my favorite oldies shows, Miami Vice, even bought the dvd sets of season one and two..but he has not fared the aging game too well. I think if he lost some weight he might look better, he is a little pudgy. You'd think with a young wife and all those babies he would try to look young. At least he hasn't gone for the plastic surgery like some do and end up looking like a :clown:

I guess the WDW crew should be back in town, hope they had fun and let us know all the details of the fun they had.

Pam, what's shakin'? She must be still setting on the new deck soaking in the atmosphere

I talked to OCM last night evidently they couldnt find a shirt to fit my wide girth so I going with a large. ;) Sounded like she was having a good time.

I'm home!!!

I had a wicked fun time and the boys had a blast together. They got a little rambunctious, but in all honesty, with one bigger mishap and a few minor incidents, Nico never gets to just cut loose and be silly. I was glad to see him get to be a kid.

Also, with the help of Evan and TVT, Nico became MUCH braver than he ever had before!!! He rode splash mountain, Star Tours, Test Track, Big Thunder, and Expidition Everrest (he didn't like that one, but he tried it!!)

He also asked to watch Illuminations!! My child, the one that would cry and hide from the fireworks. The one that was afraid of Dumbo, becuase it went too high!!

I was so excited and really a HUGE thanks to Evan, Deena, and Tony for taking him on the rides while I waited with Sammie. I've never seen my child so comfortable. It was very exciting for me.

Also, a HUGE thanks to TVT, Deena, David, Matthew and anyone else that watched my children while I rode, Test Track, Everest, TOT, and Aerosmith. It was very thoughtful of you all to help out so I could ride some adult rides.

They really are HUGE T-shirts. I held the large up to me and it looked like it would fit you. I was tryinging them on and since the XXL went down to my knee caps, and the large fell past my butt, I asked them if they would shrink at all. He said a little, but not too much.

If you really are worried about it, I wouldn't put the large in the dryer, but really, you should be fine.

That is awesome you had such a wonderful trip. Kids being kids is great and that they all enjoyed each other's company is a bonus! Boy, Nico has come a long way to ride all those rides, good for him. Sometimes it just takes being "brave" once and all the rest of the stuff falls in place and they want to ride them all. Glad you found a shirt for Ed, he should be in Star War's heaven :goodvibes Is Deena back also? So glad it was a good trip..now, do you have like a 2 week break before heading back????? :lmao: Good job that you got to ride the adult stuff, being in a group sure has advantages like that. Did you like Everest? everyone say's its awesome

Well, back to cleaning the porch, was just waiting or the floor to dry off a bit and thought I'd drop by
