It's the morning after....

we had our party on Sunday, neighbors had their yesterday - woke up to Country/Western & it just kept going until late last night. I like music playing in the background too but, if I have to yell for someone to hear me - it's too *amn loud (has nothing to do with the fact that I detest what passes for C&W these days - whatever happened to Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn ???)

IMO cats are much tougher to drag to the vets than dogs are - good luck mac.

I'm off to hospital to take dear old Mom for her hip injections - pretty much dragging her this time. The roles apparently have reversed, I am now the mother.

Baseball games resume this p.m. - go team .

ks, yea, i hear ya but you have it easier. when yu have to help your mom, she lives with you. for me, i have to drive over 300 miles one way to take care of her. once i had to drive 2 times in 8 days to get to her.
remember 3 weeks ago i had to drive to mom's just to look under her bed as she thought a box was there...................yikes...



so right about the cat.

since she is diabetic, i can't put fish in the carrier to get her to go in peacefully.................and i think she heard me talking to mr mac about her kidney testing today.......


as fat as she is and without claws, the kitty is a fighter when going into the carrier.

Hope you all had a good Memorial Day! Mine stunk...i had a migrane So I was laying down most of the day...still a little headache today but not as bad!

Malarie starts helping me today! I have a drop in though...one of the kids cousins that are staying with them..had her a couple times last summer and she is a sassy little girl!

Anyway, parents are coming...i'll check in more a little later...perhaps nap time!

you're right mac - I whine just to hear the sound of my own voice .

My cats are so fat I toss them in the dog crate for travel. Even the one w/o his front claws is able to scratch the heck out of me w/his back paws.

Our Memorial Day was fun -- our cleaning woman showed up (I guess it wasn't a holiday for her? ), so I got the boys out of the house by taking them to breakfast, to the grocery store, and do some errands. Then we all went to our neighborhood pool for a few hours and came home and had a cookout with a few other families in our neighborhood.

The rest of the weekend was eh, though -- mostly because it was filled with stuff we had to go to, not stuff we wanted to do.

You know, I use to NEVER get them until i had my secong ds...now i usually get them every couple of months...seems to be worse in the fall and spring when all the crap is flying in the air.

We are suppose to have ball games tonight to answer Mac's question earlier...but it rained again here and the fields are looking very water logged so I have to listen to the radio to see if they are cancelled today.
Aubrey is going to be a busy girl this week as it is the BIG week...she has dance Wed., Thurs, and then her recital is Friday night and Saturday day.....it is going to be another crazy week!

She's home this week, then leaves Monday night for San Diego. She's home on the 8th, and then we leave for vacation at the Outer Banks on the 10th.

Good morning all It's Tuesday, that feels like Monday, but is really Tuesday and then the rest of the week will be out of whack too. BUT only 4 days to conquer. Seems the two accts. payable ladies are going down to Baltimore tomorrow to the place that processes our containers of material when they come in, and the MIA co-worker is still not showing up, so guess I'm on my own tomorrow and one of the salemen will have to watch the phones for me while I do lunch and then the new gal is taking off til next Tuesday (this was pre-employment here plans) so these 4 days will be interesting.

Sorry about headache Pam, I can sympathize, I can get those nasty things too and I call them "corkers". Usually about 6 or 8 Excedrin later I feel ok.

Bob, sounds like your weekend was good. KS, seems you had fun too, glad everyone chilled out and enjoyed the first official weekend of summer. It was HOT here, and is HOT today. Glad I'm inside actually.

I ate too much over the weekend and it's back on track today.

Ed is back at work too after an anniversary trip. Boy, that loss last night hurts when you come back from being down 6 runs and then still lose

Not a fan of country music, so I will hold my comments but I do know what happened to dear ole Johnny I agree though, CW today is very poppish and not country, crying in your beer type of years ago.

it was a hoot what you listed for everyone today.



i ate so much yesterday i am still full.......i could only manage a 33 minute workout......i drank so much water while exercising i thought i would burst or pee, whichever would come first.

well, i didin't burst.



today, i clean the garage. son #3 came home and the garage is full of his school stuff.
of course the car is still in the driveway.


only question: where do i put all of todds stuff and treasures now?

Best Buy sent my laptop back for 2 weeks.

wow, i feel so icky.......at curves they say to drink like 8 bottles of water a day. i am sick of that stuff. i drank 3 bottles already and think i am going to puke. i never knew water could make a stomach hurt so bad.
