but then, when the summer comes, i am glad i am at home where the weather is lousey and only 12 90 degree days a year....

Youngest DS is settling into his braces (only got top ones so far); it's a challenge finding "soft" food to feed him.

Grocery shopping & bb practice today. BD dinner for future DIL tomorrow. DH's still putting the BathRoom back in order, today's the tub surround installation. Can't wait for the adhesive fumes...pooh, stinky!

mac - don't know if you're doing MNSSHP (know you're more of a HHN type) but, the tix went on sale yesterday. We're going on 10/12. Still haven't figured out whether I'm getting the U tix. Hate the thought of not having FOTL or Express Pass; wouldn't be the same.

Nico's team kicked butt. I had a wicked hard time with the other team. They were completely undisciplined, unruly, and seriously, they were trash talking. ***???

I asked Nico what they were saying after. He was telling me that they were teasing Nico's team and saying they were winning and they were better and blah blah. Nico's team won 14-4. So, not only are they undisciplined, ill-mannered childern, but they are delusional as well.

Unfortunately, we are playing the same team again tomorrow.

keisha, i bought my mnsshp tickets for sept 29 and also for oct 5.

let me check on what i heard on the attendance for the 12 th when yu go.


i am going with a group dis ladies and also meeting up with the chicago group that friday date. on thursday the 5th, i signed up with another chgo group and other straglers around the country for a mini meet.
on the thursday, i will be solo most of the evening except for a few 15 minutes of meet up time.

I'm not TVT, but I think I can answer this for him.

Actaully, he is in a golf tournament today. It's an all day event, so I'm sure he'll be too tired to go to Epcot tonight, given the fact that he is OLD. I mean, he is even older than ED

But, the bands generally stay there for 3-4 days I think. So, Im sure he'll catch up with whoever is there this weekend tomorrow or Monday.

Chopped livers plans for the weekend are Bunco tonight and maybe out house shopping tomorrow. We sold our townhouse and so far have gotten 2 offers on the house we just did. I could get used to actually having some money! LOL

I did go to target this morning and got stuck there by some really hard rain.
I probably wont be on the comp much so I hope you all (even the one who forgot me ) have a great weekend.

We went to town, we got 2 air conditoners, made a trip to Wal-Mart, went to TGIF's and now I'm home....doing laundry of course.....I did mop the kitchen floor. It needed it anyway, but then I spilt something sticky on it, so I figured I'd just get it done.

Got loads of laundry to put away, so I'm going to do that, then veg this evening. I was going to take a walk, but I think I'll save that for tomorrow.

Deena, awesome on selling the property and getting more... you will turn from chopped liver into our land baron!! Good luck if you are playing Bunco tonight..........

mac, sounds like you are settling in for a quiet evening also. You and KS should start plotting your attack on Universal and the MNSSHP....oh boy, that will be fun.

I think maybe my grandson is coming in this summer to stay with us for a week or so. Nothing concrete, still in the planning stages, but it is starting to take shape. I think I talked my son into not letting his other grandma take him to Florida. My personal feelings are that she was doing it in jealousy, cause all of a sudden the only time she might be able to get off work for that trip is the VERY week we had planned for him to be here And, I told my son that for the boys to have their first trip to WDW...he and DIL should be with the kids to see the magic............I usually stay out of this kinda stuff, but I had strong feelings and just said what they were and they could lump em or leave em. The more I thought about it, it made me mad that she just suddenly wants to plan a trip, knowing there are plans for him to come here.. I've already started to arrange dates and stuff at work and getting my nieces to help out with watching him a couple days, so to ask me to change everything is pretty crappy. We'll see though.

My mom LOVES her time with my three kids. This year she is taking them for 3 weeks again, all three of them this time. And that is really crappy that the ONLY week that the other grandmother is avaiolable is that week. I agree, that is obnoxious.

My MIL use to pull this crap too. But, now that my baby neice lives in my other house, and my MIL is has her literally about 5 nights a week, she doesnt have time for mine as much.

I would like for her to spend a little time with my kids, but, she is emotionally unstable and I wouldnt want my kids around her for any length of time.

we never had any problems with the kids and their grandparents.

neither side had much to do with them and they probably only saw the boys about 4 times until they were teens.
then only once.

we got off the hook easy !!

Only thing that smells worse than cooking liver & onions is tripe. Begrudgingly make it for dear ole Mom a few times a year, keep telling her Denny's makes it but, she sez mine is better.

We'll be arriving @ WDW (whenever AT decides to plunk us down - they've changed flight times for July either 4-5 times over 8 hrs) on Sunday, Oct. 8th & will depart sometime the following Sunday, Oct. 15th.

Still haven't decided if we're going to squeeze in U or not. Sprung for the CR for 2 nights & would like to soak up some ambiance in exchange for the big bucks.

DS put down deposit on 1st apt (w/fut. DIL) today. They'll be moving in to it within the next 2 months. Always will think of my DS's as little boys no matter how old they get I suppose! When he asked me if he can still come home for breakfast every now & then I almost lost it. The first to leave the nest...boo, hoo!

KS...you better check those dates.... seems like you are only staying overnight....lots to do in 24 hrs. Can totally relate to your empty nest feelings...at least he is close enough to pop by for breakfast...and that was cute that he asked that. Yep, they always stay your little boys, no matter what the birth certificate indicates for age. The biggest thing is to see them happy, trying to be good people and things going well for them.

I'm off to iron....still fooling around with laundry...blech..but want to get it done tonight and have tomorrow to be a slacker... Will no doubt have sheets tomorrow as I think I'll get up and change beds and put out clean towels...but I'd rather fold that stuff than socks, undies and such...

mickey4ver, thanks - I'm so worked up I cut the trip short LOL. True, I should be glad that he'll only be less than an hour away. For a while he worked on other side of the state (it was different, I knew he'd be coming back home - he left all his stuff ).

Have fun w/the laundry. I have an adversion to ironing. Ex insisted that I iron our sheets & pillowcase (just the way his Momma used to do... ).

Owned a cleaning company for a very short period of time after 1st marriage dissolved. Never knew people could be such pigs.

I guess I have an aversion to ironing too, but I still do it... Just can't stand crinkles & wrinkles...I'm not so into it that I iron perfectly, but it looks better than when it came out of the dryer. I got most of it done this evening, the other couple things can wait for the next round. It is mostly my blouses and son's dress shirts that need it..

Ok, if I could quit yawning....I might make it past 9 p.m. tonight..

Speaking of trips and Deena, Deena do we need to buy our MNSSHP? When do HHN go on sale? Did you finalize the restaurants for May? Did you win at Bunco? Get the papers signed on the townhouse? How are the kids? Are you counting the sleeps until your boarder leaves? How did Micheal's pics turn out? Do you realize that I'm trying to make you feel less ignored?
