Glad the pickler is gone, but Katharine, highest votes?? must have been the dress............ ;)

night dear friends....... :wave2:

remember what ed said this morning about Kat???

insomnia here with me..............wish it was morning time

Morning Everyone

I thought the Judges were too harsh on Katherine. I am SOOO glad to see Kellie go. Thank goodness I dont have to listen to her anymore.

Next week they have to sing two different songs, 1 from the year they were born, and the other from the top 10 billboard. It should be good.

Chris and Katherine are still my top two favorites.

Morning....

Yep, it's getting down to the wire on AI now....the best will rise to the top, well, they should anyway.. ;)

See you guys a little later....time to scoot outta here :moped:

good morning:sunny:

mickyrver - nothing like an annoying co-worker to frost your cake. Only saw the highlight show last night, too bad DH was @ work he would have loved Kat's dress:teeth: .

Kellie will undoubtedly show up on a sit-com soon. What was it Simon called her...naughty little minx? Think he was channeling Austin Powers.

mac - did you get your Universal tix yet? You probably already know but, I was surprised to hear that AAA South is selling a BOGO Pref. AP for $175. (think it needs to be bought by Sept., activated by year end?) In your opinion, is this the best deal so far?

Nico got rained out for his soccer practice yesterday. He woke up this morning still disappointed about it.

He has two games this weekend.

Bad news for me. Nico's school is doing an end of the year picnic. But it's during the vacation that I already paid for. SOOOO, Im going to leave Disney a day early that first week of May and come back

I also have Kindergarten Orientation with Nico on May 12 and it's Julie's last day of school, she gets out at 12:30pm. There are somdays I feel like I need a clone so I can be in two places at once.

How cute your son was disappointed. Wait another 10 years, he'll be dancing when practice is cancelled (I know there's days I do a secret rain dance;) ).

Before my DS's went to HS, I served on the PTA board, so I always knew when the activites were scheduled & planned any trips around them. Now, at all grade levels our school district forbids vacation (automatic unexcused absence) during the months of Sept. & May. When I protested, it was explained to me that aside from testing, there are too many "fun" activities that the kiddos would miss...and WDW would be non-fun?LOL

Thats a great deal! Thats how four of us got our AP's to start with. Now I need to get one for Evan and Connor so that would be great. Do you have to be a AAA member to get it?

Even the 2 and 3 day tickets are $99 and thats for 5 days, so to pay $87.50 pp for an AP is really good.

ANY AAA member can stop @ the office in Kissim (don't have to belong to AAA South)..., off I-4 exit 83-B (they tell me it's about a 1/2 hour drive from there - Colonial Prom. Shopping Ctr). Just 1 person w/AAA card needs to show up, CC or cash only.

$174.95 pp, must be purchased before July 31st & activated by Sept. 30th.

Last year I converted an tix I bought w/FAN disc. to AP @ U gate to get a great AP rate @ HRH. Already locked in on accom. this year, but sure will try to book within the next 2 years.

They will not process an internet/mail transaction if your a non-South member though.

Since we have WDW AP's I had crossed Universal off our list for a year, however this is sure puts a spin on things...probably exactly what was intended.

When I called the AAA office in Orlando, they did state that they have plenty on hand for the promo:banana: .

I agree with KS...Nico gets a little older, he will be happy when practice is cancelled.......

Ed, that is a fancy weather prognosticator you have there...pretty cool

Once the kiddies get school age, it gets harder to plan trips etc....without knowing in advance their days off etc....you will get in the groove though and pretty much know when "safe" times are to plan.

Today is take your kid to work day, we have 3 kids here...the owners little guy is something else.........his Dad brought him to my desk and said "ask her what she does here everyday to help us"....the little guy says "guess she sits around and does nothing like everyone else in here".... :lmao: from the mouths of 6 yr olds...........he wasn't concentrating on the purpose of being here at all, he just wants to run around...he brought me invoices to mail, and promptly dropped them all on the floor and they all slid under my desk...but he retrieved them for me...a little jumbled up, but I got them :goodvibes He is a cutie. And the co-worker who was in bad humor yesterday is the same way today.....he did ask me a question earlier, and I answered it...2 can play his game..I know, I'm being as bad as him, but I just feel like being this way........ :stir:

Morning all!

Mic--sorry to hear that the bad guy is still bad! Go upto him and give him a slug and tell him he is being an ****...maybe that will get his attention!

Ocm--Yes, May is the time of all the year ends...It gets crazy here too and then we go right into baseball so really the craziness never stops!

KS, Looks like you may have a litter harder time deciding what to do with the good prices and all! I say do them both. :teeth:

Mac--are you workin' today?

Ed--pretty cool! I have to tell you a story: Aubrey listens to the radio at night...the other morning she came out and said "Mom, my radio said that tomorrow, it is going to be windy with showers" It was just so cute because she wanted so badly to act like she knew what she was talking about. Then after she told me that....she went back to her room and shut the door. So your weather thingy just reminded me of that :teeth: I am glad you got it up and running!

It has been a crazy week here for me this week! I was suppose to have a show tonight but the lady just happened to forget to send out her invites :furious: Actually, that works out better for me anyways....Noah has soccer pratice and then trent has a d.a.r.e. graduation tonight so i will get to see it. Looks like the weekend for me may change...the weather said it was suppose to rain this weekend so if that is the case trent probably won't have his games, the parade for arbor day is going to stink, and the Husker game and camp on sunday may either be rained out or to cold to go to anyway. We are going to get the materials we need to build our deck this weekend though....that is a good thing!

Think the world could handle two of me?

Your weather thingy is wicked cool. Now we know all about when the wind is blowing up.

Mic - Go ask the guy when he is having the pole surgically removed froim his butt.

2 of U ?? :rotfl2: What would we do trying to keep 2 ocm's in line or track of.......that would be a full time job for the testers here.......hey, that would BE our test...... :thumbsup2

Yeah, he needs the pole removed and pronto.....ya know, if he is having a difficult time with his underlings, that has not a thing to do with me, they are HIS problem, so don't take it out on me by being p---y...I try and treat everyone here with kindness and keep the applecart on all 4 wheels...cause things do get chaotic sometimes, and for him to take his frustrations out by saying something smartassy to me is totally unnecessary. He'll get over it, but I tend to file those things away and remember them from time to time.

good morning, here i am.

lots of issues at home and couldn't get on until now , very unlike me.

mic, want me to come over and hurt him for you? just say the word.

sweets, makes me feel bad nico was so disappointed. those type of things are so important at this age.

about the universal ap through AAA south. it can be bought over the phone.
i have a number somewhere and the name of the supervisor that can and will do it. it came from an universal thread and the people that did it that way.

i don't know if the 180 is the best deal. if you have any unused ticket it can be applied to an ap at gs. isn't the ap now 190?
i have to research that question ks.

i bought the 5 day 2 park pass on line thru uo store for $99.
i will upgrade to the ap when i get there. i already talked to gs about it.
the great thing is even if i use 3 days of that 5 day pass, the entire $99 is applied to the cost of the upgrade. wouldn't it be nice if disney did upgrades like that.

life used to be so easy and sweet.
i will be back later.

8 to 5 meeting.......BLECH

mac, sorry you are having an icky morning, hope the afternoon turns around and is better for you.....

nah, I'll take care of this guy...he is just a 31 year old that needs an attitude adjustment....doesn't quite get the older is wiser addage

i'd say get that mean dog of pam's on that 31 year old.

and if you can't get the dog, beat him with a stick.

i always feel so much better after physical activity :teeth:

Morning all :)

Sorry, I'm not around today -- I'm stuck in an 8am - 5pm meeting. I'm on lunch break.

Yuck, that stinks!!! Hope you learn something in the 9 hours!!!! :teeth:

Found an 877 number for AAA south Univ. tix.

the key to this deal is the 2 year window of usuage, & twisting DH's arm.;)
