We have the same problem here too, Pam -- ever notice that the smoke detectors only chirp at night? And since we have like 10 detectors around the house, figuring out which one to change is a PITA.

Oh, and it sounds like we have about the same weather here as well -- it's better than yesterday, though, which was wet and crappy.

Oh i know, I was walking around trying to figure out which one it was and when i finally found it.......i went to get a different battery.....we don't have any!!!! So I just took it out and put it back in and it stopped....now i will have to run out to buy batteries tonight...that is something that I forget to do anymore!


Yes, It was wet and cold all day yesterday too.......I am ready for sunshine and 70 everyday!!!

Kellie couldn't have sucked worse, it pretty bad when the the lady on ludes cant say something nice about you.

Elliott maybe hard to look at but the dude can sing. Bob Dylan and Mick Jagger aren't winning beauty contests.

I thought it was funny how they gave Chris a Singing Lesson to help him sing from someplace besides his throat.

Paris who is this girl she just plays what ever part she is singing I dont think I've seen her personality in anything.

Taylor had a rough time but I think he was sick.

KS I have been watching cartoons many years as well. My boys are pretty spread out, 18 15, 6 and 4. So have been round twice with TMNT, Power Rangers and couple of others. Luckily my fav is Spongebob and I was singing that song to Connor yesterday when we were leaving Target with his Spongebob cake, lol.
His wish last night when he was blowing out his candles was to get a Spongebob toy.....and he did!


Ahhh the joys of smoke detectors. When I was a teen my mom and I had a smoke detector on the wall that was hooked up to the electrical in the house. It would off--not chirp--but full blow off in the middle of the night. My mom didnt know how to unhook it so she used to beat the crap out of it with a broom. It was so funny. But being a teen most of the time I never woke up.

Deena I dont know if you have an iPod but you can go onto iTunes and download Spongebob cartoons and they have the Hash slinging slasher.

Along with a whole bunch of Disney Classic short cartoons.


And yes the smoke detectors always seem to chirp around 1am to have the battery replaced.

This is an old iron. It was used to iron clothes in the old days. It was heated on the stove. Then they used to iron their clothes. It is not used anymore.
