Morning all!

I was running late getting the boys out the door....hoping trent made the bus this morning! If not I have a feeling that the principal will run him down for me....it is good to have friends who look out for your kids

Welcome back to work Bob! Were you ready to come back to work? There is only so much time you can sit around huh?!?!



My house is such a pit!!! Dave did try to hold it down, but with all the running around they did i guess it is hard for anyone to do! Looks like I have loads and loads of work for me today!

This is my down day too! The rest of the week will be a whirlwind and then it will be the weekend again for me.....before i know it it will be the end of summer already

Pam, my house was in good shape...and my "smart" little doggie pulled a fast one on me this morning, he went and hid so I couldn't put him in his crate!! How quick he has learned to become a Houdini...I know where he was, but didn't have time to ferret him out...and I didn't want to make going into his crate like a "punishment"....oh darn, he is starting to rule the house and that is not good guess he has "trained" me the way he wants...

Hope Adam and the Mrs. woke up and still aren't at the hotel!!! LOL........bet he is catching up on work too.........I didn't realize how much he oversees at his job, he is one busy man!!

My mom is gone. She had to get back, because she is the Director of Religious Education, so her work week starts on Sundays.

It was a really nice visit and I am glad I got to see her. My favorite Aunt is coming in June. YAY!!! I wicked excited for that.

I'm feeling fine, nearly 100%.

Wasn't ready to come back, though -- last week was so nice. Take the boys to school in the morning, get some stuff done, pick them up early afternoon so Cam could play with all his friends outside (it was in the 60's/70's all week ). Those were some nice days.

IHope Adam and the Mrs. woke up and still aren't at the hotel!!! LOL........bet he is catching up on work too.........I didn't realize how much he oversees at his job, he is one busy man!!

Maybe there was to much wind in baltimore that they had a hard time going home!!!!

Good morning everyone. Wow, what can I say? Although it was wayyyy to short, the Baltimore trip was AWESOME! I was in heaven walking around the Inner Harbor with 3 hotties by my side. I bet all the guys thought "how on earth did that guy get to hook up with 3 of those Miss USA contestants!"

Mac, since you are a Civil War buff, you would have liked the tour we took on the USS Constellation. It's the only Civil War Era vessel still afloat. For 9 bucks they give you an electronic device that resembles a really long cell phone. When you get to a part of the ship that has a number sign, you punch that number into your phone and a recorded message comes on to explain that part. Apparently, the folks that run this museum want these phone thingy's back. How do I know this? Simple, DW and I were finished with our tour so we handed our devices to the person near the exit. We ventured down the stairway to the gift shop to purchase a few items. All's well UNTIL....loud beepers start blaring from the stairway. Employees rushing around corners from both above and below the stairway. SWAT teams being positioned on all roofs around the ship. What the heck was going on? Evidentially, Mic and Pam loved the tour so much, they thought they would keep the phones so they could listen to it anytime they wanted. They passed the point of no return where the phones activated the beepers much like that of leaving a store with the electronic tag still attached to an item.

After DW and I bailed them out of jail, we went on to do the other stuff they mentioned in their posts. Mic and Pam were not as chatty as they think they are. I know I had some wonderful conversations with both. They are the kind of people you just want to be around. My DW had a blast shopping with them and she absolutely loves the necklace/bracelet/hair accessory thing they all got. We slept in yesterday and had breakfast at the hotel (since it was Sunday, they had a buffet), caught a movie in the room and checked out at 11:30. Took a leisurely drive back to Jersey stopping off at DW's parents house, Yocco's hot dog place and a mall where a co-worker of mine has a collectible store.

It was really great meeting Mic and Pam and I look forward to next year's meet in...........................go ahead, one of you guys can tell.

YAY, Adam checked in..........thanks for the kind words, it was just so great...and ya know, I never thought about the mac/civil war connection, but YES, she would have loved the ship....hey, aren't you getting on with a little writers entitlement there on the electronic device theft...and perhaps someone was actually standing at that point when you debarked, but for us NO ONE WAS there.........perhaps we were on a ghost ship???

Ok, the BIG REVEAL.......

what we talked about was for everyone to gather in NJ, getting a hotel there to save some $$$...meeting up with our tourguide Adam, and doing NYC for a couple days!!! Doesn't that sound awesome? We came up with the idea while talking about the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building....I'm thinking it sounds wonderful and we need to work on it. I'm in and Pam's in....what does everyone else think? We figured we can start just pulling some ideas together by fall, and pick some tentative dates for early Spring........

Adam, sounds like you enjoyed the morning before returning home...awesome, and they had a buffet, that is cool. So, it was not only rainy but windy.............

Bob, you could get used to that stay-at-home-dad stuff....

been there, done that. did the statue, buildings, tourist stuff a few times before.

if that is where you all end up, take the laptop and digital camera with for it.
