Morning from work..........yikes, I had a time getting out the door this morning...was trying to do last minute things...I don't have too long at home before leaving for the airport to pick up Pam..........as she and I always say, we work better under pressure. Then it was like a parade on the way to work this morning, gawkers and sightseers instead of metal to the peddle...

The drive was okay. The boys were very good during the service. Connor was restless by the graveside part but he managed to hold out. They had a big lunch for the family and everyone at the church hall so we stayed there visiting with Davids family. We finally got home about 4 yesterday.
Good thing the funeral was yesterday. Last night and this morning there were really bad thunderstorms going through Texas so Im glad we missed that.

Everyone's gearing up for that big weekend...we expect a full report next week - juicy, I hope!

Appears as though DH has fixed the plumbing problem still haven't put stuff back under the sink...think I'll give it a few days.

Embarrassing moment yesterday...dropped off middle DS @ ex's house & my car died in his driveway. DH still @ work so I had to call AAA to come out. Got stung by a bee (allergic & didn't have epi-pen or benadryl with me, of course). As I slowly started to swell up, DH arrived after work & I was able to run home & get med. Glad I made my escape, ex was so excited trying to figure out how expensive our repair bill would be; can't wait to tell the a**-hole that the bolt was loose on my battery & cost less than $25.
