Looks like I am the first one to check in this morning!!! We would be gone by now, but I forgot Aubrey has tumbling this morning so we are going to take off to Lincoln after her tumbling!

I am sure I will be back pretty early today because we don't have that much to get!

Must of have been an awful lot of celebrating yesterday.

To add insult to injury, middle DS's car broke down yesterday & it had to be towed (when it rains, it pours

). Hope it's just the alternator, engine died - then started back up a few hours later, then died again...hooray for AAA. Anyone want to venture a diagnosis?

I insist that my DS's get a part-time job & pay for their own insurance/gas (show me credible coverage LOL), etc. before they are allowed to drive. Since I don't have him listed on my policy, I'll be his personal driver until it's fixed. Hope it's soon, he has to be @ school each day @ 6:00 a.m.

Middle DS will be skipping baseball prac. today. Has a strange school assignment wherein they're competing in a contest to submit video/advertisement touting the virtues/sights of Pittsburgh. Of course junior volunteered to take the digital pic. for the presentation...and they're due on Monday.

KS, hope ds is feeling much better today.... You will be a busy mom/chauffeur for a few days......yep, never rains, but pours...you got that one right...and I feel your pain

I was quite busy at work yesterday so never got to join the conversation and I popped on a little around 4:15, then everyone in the office started acted like it was Friday afternoon and we all were fraternizing... and then it was time to leave!!!

Took little Mr. to the vet....deemed a healthy critter at 16 lbs. got his shots, so he is all vaccinated for a couple years, and his big surgery is 3/27....goes in the morning and I'll pick him up after work. He won't think to much of me after that trip....but he has been a father once...with his SISTER.... so it's not like he's being deprived of ever having an encounter........ or some pleasure...

My left contact that had been bothering me broke in half the other night, so I'm supposed to be going for an eye exam tomorrow so I can get it replaced, but I don't really want to go.........then again I might turn it into a shopping trip to look for some spring blouses/tops.......who knows...I'm like the wind, I can change directions at any time.

I decided to change being Irish to today...because of having to get home quickly and back to the vet last night, I saved the corned beef/cabbage cooking for today...it is now in the crockpot......... I was amazed, although loaded with salt, corned beef has 0 carbs!!

Today I've not decided what I shall do...I need to mop up the kitchen floor a bit......but again............I'll think on it all.......most likely laundry, that I can never put off

took son to work and then to home depot. had to swipe more mickey heads for my fall trip. and i didn't get caught , i only took 75 this time.

i hope that store stocks up on the lime green. i had to get other colors this time.


going to a church thing this afternoon. our last preacher left in feb 05 and we have some dude that is going thru questions and answers this afternoon. tomorrow he will preach and then we vote on him. i think i will vote no.
already made up my mind..............


got to do laundry today as son goes back to school tomorrow. another long haul down to the city and the train station. but it bets driving 11 hours for me when i take him to school.

i'll be back later. have to eat again....

Keisha - I'm so sorry to hear that you are going to be a taxi for a while. Bummer.

We had to get to soccer this morning. Nico got 3 goals HAT TRICK!! Yes, I do know that is a hockey term) and at least 4 assists. Everyone on his team scored at least one goal, mostly due to Nico assisting them. It was fun. He played his old team too, so it was good to see the old teamates.

I went to VS to get my free thong. Then, I walked out spending $100. I would have been cheaper not to get the free thong. I really need a purple thong and that was the one color they didn't have. I did get some really cute satin and mesh ones though. So, maybe it was worth it. All it's really going to do it tick DH off when he sees the cute patterns.

Nico is da man today!!! Good for him...I bet he was thrilled with having such a good game....go NICO

mickey4ver - ewwww, your furry friend deserves to be on Jerry Springer.

sweetlovin' - purple eh? I've never got used to wearing a thong, ouch! Do have a few I have for special ocassions (but they don't get much use ). Soccer mom's are unsung heros IMO (been there, done that).

macraven - voting on a preacher?!?, sounds like Am. Idol . We RC's just get who we get from the diocese & hope for divine intervention.

Just got back from church, youngest DS served. I was "stuck" upfront in a pew all by myself. Oldest DS & finance' were late & snuck in the back - had the nerve to tell me they didn't see me - HA! Now they're sucking up. The wrath of Mom...will befall them. Feeling a bit fire & brimstone tonight.

Middle DS took off the Mummy wrap, think he should put it back on - quick like.

Jerry Springer would love the story... it is such a Jerry Springer-ish story...

Little Mr. is mad at me, as I try and brush him everynight..he is not too fond of the whole deal...so we are working on a system of letting me brush a bit and he gets a treat...he is slick though...he tries to get the treat without letting the brush touch him........... we're working on the whole concept though.....but immediately when I was done, he took off and went downstairs with the men folk..ya know, they always stick together

Hey guys!!

got back from Lincoln...went to a few store that i wasn't planning on going to and walked out with a few bags!

I have to tell you my story:

A few weeks ago when I went to get Aubrey her new doll house I bought her a pair of shoes also. Well, when we were in the car driving away i noticed that they didn't ring up the shoes!
Well, today we went to the Gap and I bought a few things there. Went to ring them up and checked out. Didn't think anything of it and walked into Scheels and shopped there and then we left. So, we get to my moms and Aubrey wanted to show my mom what "she" bought today so i got her clothes out and started looking at the receipt and you know what? The didn't ring up the hoodie sweatshirt I bought her!!!

Oh and then when we went into kohl's today, I walked into the front door and the alarms sounded!!!!! I said...i don't have anything...you want to look in my purse????

Anyway, that was my exciting day! Noah seems to really like his glasses!



I was looking for some good books to read for the airplane ride next month...any suggestions? I looked today, but couldn't find anything that really popped out! I like mystery, romance, or you can put them together!



Oh and that is awsome for Nico....GO NICO!!!!!

Sorry for the ones who have to be bus drivers!!! I am sure it won't last to terribly long!
