Alright, today i came to a conclusion......I suck at candyland!!!!! I played like 5 games and didn't win one of them!!!


It is official, school has been cancelled for tomorrow due to the snow we are "suppose" to get...i think today we have gotten about 3-4 inches, but it has not stuck on the streets or sidewalks yet. I guess tonight we are suppose to get 2-4 more inches and then tomorrow we are suppose to get 8-12 more.


I am going to call it a night..it is tiring getting beat at candyland! Have a good night everyone!!

LMAO! I am so sorry you had such trouble with Candyland. It's very depressing when you can't win at children's games. I love board games..we play often. But, there is a dice game (with letters not numbers) called Perquaky that is my favorite. That and scrabble..so I'm trying to get Nico to play those.

I don't mind Candyland, the game I can't stand is Chutes and Ladders. I actaully really like memory, but Nico is fast becoming more of a competitior every time. When he is paying attention, the boy remembers everything.

Pam do you have Disney Trivial Persuit or Disney Scene It? We play those all the time too. It's fun becuase Julie can even get into them, more with scene it, and if we ask Nico the kids questions, he can play on his own. I know he has beaten us twice at Disney Scene It. Disney Trivial Persuit, we play teams and take turns between asking him a question, then an adult a question. But, he gets more right than wrong.

Poor Pam, a novice when it comes to kids games.... just remember, practice makes perfect

Morning campers...managed to sleep in 1st day I was responsible for taking DS to school. "Well, officer, I was driving 90 miles an hour because my son is late for school, police school" That would go over big!

What's up w/sopranos? Little too introspective for me - bring on the goombas. Only caught a few footballers wives episodes, always afraid one of my DS's will catch me @ a bad moment & this their mom's a perv.

BTW, all younz guys can keep the snow out west. In case you haven't heard...

Hey, i know it is SPRING.....tell mother nature!!!! It is days like this that i am glad i work from home!!!! That way I don't have to go anywhere unless i want to and right now.....i don't want to!!!

ocm-- we don't have either of them...but x-mas is coming...trent and noah weren't ever really into games that much, but aubrey LOVES them so maybe i should put them on her birthday/xmas list!
Aubrey has the leap frog game that has letters and colors on it that goes to 3 different levels...she loves that one too....i can win at that one!

So where is everyone else at today.......and don't tell me you are snowed in!?!??!?!

Now at work.........so far it's quiet....it won't be long lived though...always expect the unexpected here....

Today it's to be in the 50's...tomorrow, snow, sleet and freezing rain Happy Spring.......all it will do is gum up trying to get to work...they allow snow days here, but I'm not perm yet, so doubt I'd get paid.......grrrrrrr

Soprano's was quite interesting....I knew he was "dreaming" or whatever...just wonder where they are going to take that whole thing...that is just how that show is, one week you wonder "why am I watching", then it turns around and it's "I KNOW why I watch"...I've only seen 1 yr. of Footballer's wives, and now this new one that has just started...I like the whole "soap opera" aspect of it. Mile High is about the same, although I'm not enjoying this go around as much as I did the first season of it, some of the original characters are gone.

Mac, do you remember the term "it's snowing down south?"... and I'll bet that is WAY before Momma's time...........

There has only been three times when i had to watch...it was never very fun...especially when you are the only one that is not drinking...if there were a few of you that wouldn't be so bad...then you could make fun of the drunks, but if it was only you....then you have to make fun of them by yourself.....and you know what that means?!?! the drunks start making fun of you because you are talking to yourself!!!!!
