trent did win their game today and he even scored a couple of baskets and had lots and lots of rebounds
we still haven't heard about his traveling team yet...still waiting to hear from them...they said they would be calling...dave said that he thought trent didn't have anything to worry about though..so my fingers are still crossed for him. if he makes it he will be playing with his friends, but he could have played with the 10 year old as he met that deadline by 2 days.

Chilly here this morning, roads are clear so no snow problems...I bet Ed is snowed in!

I only worry about tomorrow for my little ones....its just another day for us around here....too many of these "Hallmark" holidays to waste money on....of course that is JMHO....

Mac - I did not forget about tomorrow. I was already told that I was not getting anything. LOL!! I think it's better that way anyway. Then, you aren't disappointed.

I'm very excited tomorrow. I got each of my kids valentines cards and candy and I am making heart shaped muffins for breakfast for them. Then, I am going to take them out to dinner. I cant wait!!! Plus, it's my aunts Bday. I sent her flowers. So I am excited to hear that she got them and I get to call and talk to her!! YAY!!!

Momma, your day tomorrow with the kids sounds like such fun and it is SO much more fun to do things with the kids I think, although I know you like to be "pampered" maybe you will get a surprise, ya never know.

Ok, today is da day I make a hotel choice....I'm going back and forth between 2........... I need to just say this is it, press submit and be over with it...........LOL

We got our cold front but it wasnt really bad. In the 30's at night (some places north of us were a little colder, in the 20's) but the days were so pretty.
But I spent most of the weekend cleaning the house. Had a Southern Living party yesterday so house had to be decent. Now if I can convince the kids not to mess with it anymore.

what a day it will be today...i think i got maybe 3 hours of sleep It is going to be a full day for me too...with baking for tomorrow, and meetings ugghhh....

tomorrow is just another day for us too...i always tell dave that i would rather him send me flowers any other 364 days of the year....they get jacked up in price so dang much just for v-day! We will go out to eat but that is about it...

I am really not to impressed with that traveling coach. He said he would be calling the boys last night to see if they made the team. well, we still have not heard anything as of yet....trent came up at 11pm and asked if the coach called yet nothing like telling a kid you are going to do something and not do it! Uggghhh i hate that when people do that!

anyway, kinda a grouchy today so don't know how much i will be on...hate to bring you all down with me!

uggghh...12 inches???? sounds like a lot of shoveling!!! we are suppose to get accumulating snow on thurs. and sunday....i am hoping that my mom will still watch my kids on sat. night if i promise her i will be there early sun. morning to pick them up before the snow starts. It is still early...maybe just maybe the forcast will change.

deena...how did your party go? my mom just went to one of them last week...she saved ma a catolog so i could look at it! You know that is my compition

Sorry Pam They have a hostess gift I wanted. The Feb special is the bucket with the lid and the stand for $47. I want it for parties. If you look throught the catalog look at the Tuscan Bakeware. I have the small one and the large one. They are so pretty.

Pam, I remember those try-outs and waiting for the calls....... it did get better once my husband became the manager... and we didn't have to wait for "the call".... although when All-Star time came around, we did sweat it out...but he always made it. and ya know a team is only as good as it's leader.....so hope it all works out.

I need to go and look at your atHome stuff....Deena sounds like you had a good party.........tell those boys no messing up the house or you'll be fixin' to make THEM clean it next round.....
