I am not feeling well...this cold is kicking my butt so i am going to add my 2 cents and then hit the hay.

ed--hey thanks for finding more yellow ponchos for me!! just when i thought i was safe from them you go and find more....just for that i am going to have to....well.....i'm gonna......ummmmm.....well you know.....well.......i get ya back....you know i will!!!

mac--do you think your post about baseball is what got it banned?!?!?! that was to funny!!

mic--glad you learned something today!! I say go hit the sales tomorrow...heck if you can get them on sale it will make you feel so good and that is what you will remember, not how busy the malls are. just get up a little earlier and shop--you can always take a nap tomorrow!!

deena--wow a $140 calculator?!?!?!?!? remind me not to move texas...everything is bigger there...even price tags!!! no really--wow that is awful that the schools expect their students to buy that expensive of a calculator. especially for a highschooler that will probabaly just throw it in their locker!! or maybe that is just my kids who throw their things!!!

well i have a busy day tomorrow. I forgot to go and order aubrey's leotard and shoes today after i got done with daycare so i have to do that in the morning. I did get my window treatments all up today so that is done....but i still have a lot of things to get done and i am hoping i feel upto it tomorrow. I will check in tomorrow though and i expect all of you to do the same!!

It is raining here, but I think I'm going to head out anyway, rain will bring another 1/2 million or so out at the mall but I can get impatient and testy like the rest and throw a 'tude...

Now if I could motiviate myself to get ready...........

Morning everyone!

I have already been to the store, planned the kids party and cooked breakfast (see I cook on Sat mornings..well, sometimes )

I feel like I need to get all my stuff together before I leave. So, the kids bday party is going to be on a Thursday night Oct 6th (which is actaully Nicos Bday) at Chuck E Cheese. It's $12 per kid and they do all the food, the cake, and goodie bags. They even give the kids the tokens. All I have to do is show up and get the kids the right drinks. Easy enough.

Nico has a bday prty tomorrow, so I will talk to the moms about the bday party plan. All plans are subject to change based on kids availbility. I hope a weeknight will workout for everyone.

I am still having my head cold but i must keep going...have to run a few errands and i want to do a few things around the house that i can't do during the week when the kids are here. A woman's job is never done!

hey all...........at the library now....long story.

and yes pam, on the couch last night and a horrible sleep.
told the mr. the cost of the cat and the surgery. he is taking it better now.
but what threw him out of whack was the plane ticket.

he booked his flight on wednesday and told me to do the same.
about an hour ago i finally get on the computer to book it and it is no longer there.
long story................have the tickets now but lost the mileage bonus as i had to book thru the phone.

he will get over it. he always does.


pam: calculators are expensive. deena's son probably needs the graphing one. i had to buy three of them. the boys could not share theirs.
i bought mine at walmart as they were cheaper there, only $134.

and for college, had to update david's and buy another.
then todd has his stolen the fourth day of high school and had to replace his.

math is expensive at high school and college.

I had a full day of shopping..................and now after bringing it all home and re-trying it on, about 1/2 of it is going back............ second thoughts are the best on how stuff looks..........so I saved some money afterall......... DH says when I get home "you were gone all day and this is all the bags you have...sheesh".............well, yes, its all I have, but you don't realize how "much" those few bags cost I did get batteries in 2 of my Mickey watches...been meaning to do that forever....then the girl talked me into buying a Mickey watch that was 40% off, so I got a new watch today...couldn't resist for $16. Gotta love J. C. Penney's....

I also stopped at Bath & Body and filled out my application and I start and do a floor set 9/18....so yippee I get a discount on stuff too.........in fact some things I get at 40% off for my first 2 weeks, then I will get 30% off I think she said........... She is still after me to work weekends for the holiday, but if I continue 5 days with the other job, I'm not willing to give up my 2 days off.......but we'll see...if she would let me work just Sat. and a whole day, I might consider it..........I'm acting indecisive....just like Momma...

Nico's party sounds cool....he will have a blast at CECheese...cool beans!

I just realized how close 9/9 is..............yikes, I'll never be ready

Hello all hope everyones weekend is going OK, we were out doing some food shopping and picking up some last minute school stuff Chris start 1st grade Wed. then has a soccer practice on Thurs. .

I hope Nico has fun at CC. Chris and Connor always have fun that being said....

Evening...so glad Ed dropped by to let us know his little Ed's are getting ready for school............1st grade...wow, he is a big boy now!! Let us know how his first day goes!!

Mac, Bath and Body sells lotions, soaps, body creams, foot/hand remedys, lip treatments, candles, kids lotions, and all kinds of neat stuff. They are in every mall you go to, so check one out sometime....I love their things !

I've been shoe shopping online, only found one pair in the mall today on sale .... but oh it was a good sale..... $49 shoes for $12.99, so I started looking online for a pair also............just refer to me as little Imelda.......... although I certainly don't have the number of pairs she was said to have in her closet.........I'm a flip-flop nut, I love em...

yea, i was suprised to see ed tonight. wasn't that good to hear from him..i thought so.


i found more food links for disney and have spent hours on it.
garden grill just changed back on wednesday to the original menu, family style, that i always loved before. when they started this choice of one of 5 dishes, i didn't make a ressie there.
going to call in the morning to make one for gg

I was trying to save myself some work tomorrow, and decided to change my bed tonight and put the new foam pad on....well, fine....I get it almost all made, sheets, blanket and look on the floor, I had forgot to put the mattress cover back on before the fitted sheet.............grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...had to rip it all apart...........man, sometimes I'm brainless.............

Think I'm gonna go watch Rescue Me that I taped last Tuesday....catch up on it...love that show.........it is raining hard this evening...and we are supposed to get remnants from Katrina by Tuesday and get a super soaker from her..............

after laying on the couch all day i had to go and flip pizza tonight. just got home and i think i am going to bed. I HATE HATE HATE head colds!!!!!!

I wanted to get soo much stuff done today and didn't get a darn thing done. oh well, sounds like none of you were productive either....quit rubbing off on me!! just teasin' ofcourse!!!!

that means tomorrow i will have to be doubley(is that a word) productive tomorrow!

I did watch the yankees play the royals today though. they won the bottom of the 9th inning...so that was cool! dave was gripping though--he wanted the royals to win!
