I'll be there. I just need to make sure I leave before noon.

hi 'ya pam.........just hanging out on the computer right now.
what about you?

ocm, how long of a drive is it for you from home to mco?

Feeling any better Bob? Sure hope so :flower2:

Just doing laundry....nothing very exciting in my life but dirty clothes

I did not sleep well at all last night, so I'm not very peppy this morning

Yep, thanks for asking. I'm pretty much back to 100%. I thought the boys were all back too, but I just heard from my DW that Ryan (our little one) had a slight fever this morning in daycare. He's teething, so it's probably that -- they're putting him down for a nap and seeing if the fever goes away. If not, one of us will have to go pick him up.

ugghhh....it is always something isn't it?! Bob, I am glad you are feeling better!

Looks like the chicken pox may be going around here! One little boy from aubrey's preschool class has them! :scared:

yuck on chicken pox....have your kids had it yet Pam? or are you expecting it....LOL

Bob, glad you are feeling better but sorry about Ryan..poor little fella....hope he wakes up and has slept it off..........

Glad your better Bob and hopefully Ryan is just teething. Hopefully they were going to give him some motrin or tylenol either way.

Pam when Michael had the chicken pox as a kid Matthew was around him all the time and never got them. He had to have the vaccination when it came out since he never had them.

Stove guy came today. I wanted him to say I needed new ones (they would be covered on our warranty) but he didnt not :(

Looks like Im just going to have to buy the crap myself.

I have started my packing :cool1:

:scared1: :scared1: Yikes -- I hope that's not a trend heading this way anytime soon. :scared1:

Unfortunately, the preschool has a rule that they can't dispense any type of medication, so they can't give Ryan Tylenol or Motrin. :( Nicole gave him a dose before she left this morning because he looked like he was hurting, so we're hoping that just hadn't kicked in yet. :(

Gee Deena, maybe you should have done a little something extra to make the stove inoperable so they will replace it.... ;)

I have no fear that you will be packed and ready to roll, you travel light and get it all in......... ::yes::

Trent and Noah had the chicken pox when I was pregnant with Aubrey, but Aubrey hasn't had it yet. I am a bad parent, I didn't give her the chicken pox shot! I would rather her get it when she is little than to get the shot and not get her booster and get it when she is an adult! So, there is a possibility that she could get them. I am pretty sure that all the other daycare kids here have had the shot. One of them just got in on the chicken pox when the boy got it...he just started and was 8 weeks old!

So, I may have to reschedule those family pictures yet again!! :confused3

Really? Even if you supply a note and the medicine? I have to follow a policy that I won't dispense any unless it is supplied by the parents and they have written and signed a note saying I am allowed to give it to them....

I have to cover my butt ya know! :teeth:

That used to be the policy at the school when Cameron started going threre, but they changed it a year or two ago to the current rule. I assume they're covering their butt even more than before.

The thing about chicken pox is later on you can always get shingles and with the vaccine I dont think you have to worry about shingles.

sounds like it! I know there are some parents that bring the kids meds. and say that they didn't have time to give it to them...and expect someone else to give it to them...that may be what they are trying to get away from too....I can see them doing that on stuff that needs to be taken twice a day, but you know....what do you do about teething when they are there all day...do they expect your poor ryan to feel uncomfortalbe all day? poor guy!! Altough, I understand their rule more than you know, but my opinion is that you still have to do what is best for the kids! ;)

Isn't the shingles just if you get a mild case of the chicken pox? my understanding is that if you had a mild case of the chicken pox it is likely that you could get the shingles.

That is how we had our first break out of chicken pox! One little boy here already had the chicken pox and ended up getting the shingles...and gave chicken pox to everyone else!

I know if you get the shot you can still get the chicken pox and shingles....they are usually not full blown and just a very mild case!
