Poor dh back to work today, My gas range pooped out on Christmas day. Actually we could hear a clicking sound and when I checked it out all 4 burner had little electrical arc's where it ignites the gas. It supposed to do that when you turn it on but its not supposed to continue. Luckily my best friends dh is an electrician so I called them and he helped over the phone. I just found the electical source and disconnected it.

deena, are you telling us you don't have to cook now??

hey all, couldn't sleep more than a couple of hours, phone kept ringing and everytime i got to it, they hung up. who only lets a phone ring 5 times then hangs up............i have to run and jump over stuff to get to it......





just trying to clean up some stuff in the living room this morning.
it is overwhelming. now i know why people clean up right after christmas.
the longer it lays there, it grows.......

Well I wasnt going to cook anyway since we still have turkey and ham left from Christmas day. So we can eat that today and tomorrow then it will be time for some new food but pizza works well for me

Warranties are good............pizza is better!!!

Mac, the phone around here is the same way, won't ring for days, but try and take a nap or sleep late, and it starts...........

I think I might get dressed now.............that half the day is over....

i use my grill to make pizza.........grill on the back patio and even when i have a foot of snow, i still use it.

I would be guilty of that!!! I only let the phone ring 5 or 6 times before i think they are on the other line or not home!

my machine picks up on ring #8.
i have a quad level house.
i have to run from the upstairs bedroom down to the kitchen to get the phone. that takes at least 4 rings for me.

and never mind if i am taking a shower..........they always hang up before i get there.........

with the caller id, i know who is calling and if it is someone i know, i get aggravated as they know how long it takes me to get to the phone.

mac--i would be forever hanging up before you get there then!!! There is something about letting the phone ring more than 5 times....when i was younger...teenagerish...i would count the rings and hang up on exactly the 5 ring....i know...i'm weird!!!

DW just called been home with the boys all day cleaning so she says to me " maybe we can go out and grab a few things when you come home..... oh and while we are out maybe we can go out to dinner??" I guess we go to the Outback tonight Thanks Deena

"DIDNT YOU HEAR THE PHONE" ya I was doing something, we have caller ID see who it was and call them back or see if they left a message.

I let it ring when I have parents here and if it is Dave that called me he will call right back and say...didn't you hear the phone!?!?!?

LOL that is funny. David is like you--only worse. He will even look at the phone then hand it to me to answer. And I dont just mean when my friends call, it can be anyone on the phone.

I always make a beeline for the phone too but I do tend to look at caller ID.......sometimes it fools me though and I'll answer, and wish I hadn't...

now the evening will be here soon and i have to start cleaning the joint up.




i'll make a dent in this mess before i have to get the kid from work at 10:00 tonight.

Well, all the kids are gone now and I have to figure something out for dinner since Ed wouldn't come pick me up in that car with good shocks!!! What is wrong with him anyway!?!?!

I always look at the caller id first too before I pick it up...if i know it is a telemarketer I do not answer it unless it is during nap time...then i chew them out for calling my house!

Need to hit the dreaded grocery store sometime tonight...that means i have to get myself looking half way decent to go out in public!
