Evening all!!

Oh it is so good to be home!!! I am soooo tired, but glad I don't have to work tomorrow! I am going to try to start getting my house in order for this weekend. I need to clean, clean,clean!!!

Santa was good to us all here!!! The kids are all off playing with the stuff they got....haven't seen much of trent and noah since they are playing video games! Aubrey got one of those loving family play houses and she LOVES it..she has been playing with it non stop! Santa did good this year!!

I am glad you all had a good christmas!

you should sleep in tomorrow pam......not working and the only day you can relax.........forget about cleaning. i think deena cleaned enough for all of us this week.

I would forget about it if i didn't have people coming into my house this coming weekend!

I am going to make the boys clean the downstairs so it shouldn't take me to long to clean since it is not to messy...just the dusting vacuuming, and such...hopefully it won't take to long..although I need to clean aubrey's room and it is a MESS!!!

Well its a tie between the Epson picture mate David got me or the money from my in laws--we have property taxes coming up in Jan and that will help out with them.

But really the best for me was seeing how much everyone liked what I picked out for them.

Ohhh and about that cleaning. if you saw my house now you would swear I never touched it last week

deena, it brightens my heart that i did not clean the house before the holiday.

looking at my joint now, it looks like i should clean it tomorrow.


but, monday will be the busiest day for me

on monday, i need to shop at early morning for the special sales, holiday stuff and novelty items that will be slashed in price.

then, the ritual of the returns..........only 3 stores to hit this year.


one son leaves for mexico tuesday (3 am ) so i have to help him organize his things and that type of stuff. he has a layover in texas and i need to call american airlines on if he has to transfer his luggage or how that goes when he changes planes........if i don't and something goes wrong, its a long way for me to drive to help him out

maybe wednesday i will clean

Evening friends............whew, I'm beat too, its been a long day....we had a wonderful dinner this evening, visited for a bit and played a card game, also had some good laughs....its good to be with family and laugh a little

Deena, my son was going to buy me that Epson PictureMate, but I just wasn't sure if it was what I wanted, please let me know how you like it! That might seal the deal for me to let him get it for me...........they look really neat and seem to do a great job...........how funny we had the same gift in mind. Glad the boys are happy! Santa did real good then....that's awesome

Pam, glad also that Santa did good at your house! When they play all day with one toy, you know you did good.

Mac, your return list sounds easy.......I think we have one exchange for son, a pair of shoes I got him he may need to exchange for size..........so I did good...

I'm off to bed, I hardly slept last night and up early, so like the everyone I'm tired............sleep well all and relax tomorrow....I will start mid-week to pack up all this stuff........seems like I just got it out... But once I start to put it away, I want it PUT AWAY and done...........LOL.....

Gracious sakes....I put you guys to bed and then I have to wake you up too? I thought I would be the late bird today...........I've been awake since 5:30 or so, but had/have a headache so I lay in bed watching TV and just now moving about.......chatting online with my son

Just gonna do some laundry and stuff today, pick up a little and I'll start putting things away by week's end.......

Morning all!

We slept in here today! It is nice when the kids wake up and know not to bug ya! I am sure I won't see much of my boys today as they are downstairs playing their new video games. Aubrey has been at my hip all day...she isn't feeling well today...think she caught my nasty cold I was trying so hard not to give her!

I am going down to a friends house in a few minutes and maybe bringing home some grub for the kids so I don't have to cook..that is the extent of my day in the outside life. I am going to get busy when dave gets back and clean clean clean...need to make my house presentible for tomorrow when the kids come back!

pam, get grub for me too while you are out.

did the returns early this morning and decided not to shop and save the money. its just as well.

right now i am going nuts trying to find my sams club card. want to go buy a good ham.......i do like ham.

son left last night at 10:30 and took his kitty so its a real sad day here for me and Baby.

have to take son to the airport much later and have to help him pack up and take care of info on switching planes. he will be gone 14 days. that is a good thing.........

please, someone take the cookies away from me....!!

Morning ladies..........yes, I can't ditch this headache today for some reason, even after a couple healthy doses of Excedrin.....now I'm all jumpy from taking so much............can't win, and I still have a little bit of it nagging me..........

Mac, your house will be quiet with everyone defecting on you....but then you can relax and enjoy your time off from school and running around.......I never go to the sales today....I'm usually sick of stores and everything else by 12/26 and just can't be bothered.........but I'm all for those that enjoy it and find a good deal. I usually wait til after the 1st of the year to scope out a bargain or 2

wish i could say i will be able to relax this week mic, but its not in the cards.
have to haul one son back and forth to work all week/weekend and the week after that.

going to clear out the junk in the basement next week and shampoo the rugs.

in 2 weeks one kid comes back so a trip to the airport, then a trip to take son back to school and then when i get back, take another son and his friend to the airport for the cancun wedding trip............sure hope it doesn't snow on those ventures. i hate driving in snow and ice. yuck.........


it is never a down time here.
someday that might happen but its not gonna happen anytime soon.



put ice on the back of your neck mic to relieve the pain from the headache.
wrap the ice in a washcloth.

or is it heat that is used??? thinking it should be something cool

Hey all! 2 kids still sleeping and the other 2--the little ones playing with their new goods. I tried to get the house presentable again but its very windy here this morning so I didnt get any cleaning done. Oh well, it will still be waiting for me. I need to get my new picture mate running so I can print out some pics. Im excited to see how its going to turn out.

Just got home from my friends house...seems everyone thinks I have to fatten up as they keep giving us candy!

Still haven't started on Aubrey's room yet. getting ready to start though...dave is taking the kids out to his mom's so they can shoot their new bb guns that they got from christmas. So while they are out there I am going to go through and dispose of any toys she has not played with in awhile. Sneaky huh!?!?!

Sorry mac, i didn't bring any grub back... I am trying to think of something to have for dinner tonight. We will probably have some of the leftovers that got sent home with us! Easy and quick....just how i like it!!!
