morning all!

finally got on my computer after I:

cleaned the toy room
cleaned my familyroom
cleaned my bathroom
cleaned my kitchen
made the rest of the suger cookies, and gingerbread cookies
cleaned my kitchen again
doing laundry



wow....typing that out makes me tired...i think i need a break!


I am going to let the kids decorate the cookies and then eat them so I will have to clean my kitchen again!

Bob, I am glad that you booked your trip! Did you know that you had to take the rest of us with you?!?!

You guys looked like you had fun in that van last night....i hit the sheets early..i tell ya, this cold is kickin' my butt!

Well, I am off i need to pay some bills online and get ready to leave. My mom is coming in today so I can go to this thing of noah's at school today.

I will be back though! that is a threat and a promise!!!

4 days, nothing but golf, golf, golf. 36 holes a day Thursday, Friday and Saturday (unfortunately, only time on Sunday for 18 )

I think we're a little early for Daytona, though, Adam -- we headed home last year on the day of the 500. Lunch that afternoon before we left was interesting, to say the least. It's the most Yankee I've ever felt. I'm personally not a NASCAR fan, but I know bits and pieces of it (I knew the name Martin Truex Jr, for example) just from being around my dad and my BIL (a Gordon fan)

ummm....no, i don't golf! I have tried a few times but I can't seem to hit anything other than worm burners!!
I don't enjoy anything I am not good at! I can hit a moving ball(like a softball) far, but there is something about hitting a ball that is just sitting there! Can't do it for some reason!


But...we could always come down to support you in your efforts of playing golf 4 days a week!!! We could be your fans like Adam Sandler had in that one movie(the name escapes me right now)! Wouldn't you like to have fans like that!?!?!?!

now i am seriously thinking of getting things started.
maybe i will do the tree once the kid gets up and carries it upstairs from the basement for me.

and tomorrow it is to be warmer, about 30 for the high . but better on friday so i will shop then.

we are getting lake effect snow now and its not very warm here yet with that and the wind blowing....only 10 degrees now which is much better than what it was at 6 this morning.



son #3 told me last night he needs 8 dozen cookies to take to work on saturday. thankful he gave me notice this time. i can remember last year when he told me at 9 at night he needed them by 8 in the next morning.

i think he remembered all the screaming and crying i did last year when the cookie subject came up, so this year he gave me notice.
went to to the store and bought the flour, sugar and chocolate chips and nuts.

now, when do i start?

I'll be around for Daytona...pulling for Jr. I will also be visiting home for a 9 days as well.
We had planned on going for Christmas next year, now it looks like we are doing both. Yee haw.

Sorry, Mac -- no miniture golf on this trip. That's reserved for when DS comes down with us -- he's a huge mini-golf fan. At least until he's old enough to play "big boy" golf (his term, not mine )

We're working on it, though...

Damon bailed for the money, hes a very good ball player but I dont think he was worth the money the Evil Empire ponied up for him, and I have a feeling the wife had something to do with the decision.

My kids get a kick out of that movie...and yes I let my kids watch it even though it has some not so nice words...they know better to say them though...they know they get introuble when they say the S word --shut up..to each other...I don't like them telling each other to shut up...sounds so harsh!

Same here -- to DS, it's a "bad word", along with the other S word -- stupid.

I know what you mean! Mine are now getting into say "OH GROSS" everytime they see a man and woman kiss! You should have heard Noah when I was watching my soap opera one day! I was laughing at him!

Wen my neighbor went and picked trent up from his detention yesterday, I guess Trent was all worried about going to military school! He said: "Sharon, I guess you won't be seeing me for awhile" and she said "oh yeah, why not?" Trent, "because i got detention so i think that means that I am being signed up for military school"

I laughed so hard when my neighbor told me that so this morning before the kids walked out the door i told trenton not to get into any fights or i was sending him to military school. He said okay mom, i promise! I don't think he will be getting in any more fights......well atleast not getting attention any time soon!
