Late start this morning -- it's Mr. Mom time again for me, as DW is in Dallas.

Well, I'm here at work and it is misting snow already....the snow I'll hang out here for a bit, but if it starts sleeting, this sleigh is hitting the road, I've got 20 miles back home......

Pam, stay up that late chatting and that is what you get....a droopy eyed day........hey, I'll be able to chat a little later for a week or so while not working.... I've missed everyone......

yes, it is very late! I got done playing volleyball about 10:30 and then I had a call on my cell phone so I returned it and we talked all the way home and then some!

Deena--wow, I wish my kids were out this week! I think they go back on Jan. 3rd...it seems like they don't get much time off this year.

She gets back sometime Friday. I think she's trying to get an earlier flight, but right now, she's got an afternoon flight home. She normally doesn't travel for her job, but the last few months, since she's made partner, she's had a lot of various meetings to go to.

Last night was McDonald's Actually, that was because MIL picked the boys up -- I swear, she takes DS through the McD's dirve-thru every single time she picks him up.

Not sure what we're doing for dinner tonight? With all the snow we're getting, I'll probably not want to do anything but head back home, so we might have soup and sandwiches tonight.

That is one of my favorite meals when it is snowing and cold outside!

I have sorority tonight and it is our christmas one so everyone has to bring a appetizer or a dessert to share...that will be my dinner tonight!

LOL! No, not that kind of sorority! It is a group that does stuff around our community to better the community. We basically raise money and put it back in our community. We have this awsome summer enrichment program for the kids here in the summer. It teaches them all sorts of stuff like cooking, dance, fishing, golf, and how to become a babysitter. I like going because it is a night out for me, and I do like most of the women that are in it!

Ed - your dinner out looks good too. DH used to have formal Christmas parties, but now they just do in office things.

Im so jealous of you two. I love getting dressed up and going out!

DW's firm party (semi-formal) is Sat. night. It should actually be fun (usually it's pretty dull), since they're doing a casino night.

AND DID NOT PUT THE TREE UP YET OR SHOP YET..... i still have more time left don't i? i work in the morning, friday and saturday tied up with son to help him move. then sunday is church so hoping to do the tree, cards and shopping on the next monday. you guys put me to shame

LOL..the language in a dorm room can be very strong. S*** and F*** are pretty much used for nouns, verbs, adjectives,and adverbs,...

All the work parties sound so much fun.......our office is so disjointed right now that I wouldn't even want to party with them, and its always a luncheon anyway, not anything nice nor formal.....and GUESS WHAT!!! I'm not in that office anymore, today was my last day....I did go on an interview though within the Board of Ed, another building but in the same general area (can't get away from that darn traffic) so wish me luck!! They said they really wanted to make a decision before the holiday break, so I should hear one way or the other. I'm not pinning hopes on it, but I felt comfortable with it all and would like to give it a try. Its another school office that deals with programs....drugs....LOL....and community service for families/kids in need. More of a support office than directly dealing with the schools themselves.

Coke usually puts on a nice littel christmas party for the entire family. We usually go to a country club where they have something catered in. They have all sorts of games for the little ones to play (face painting, sand art, and other little games that they can win prizes at) Then Santa comes to visit. Well, this year something happened not sure what, (Dave might know..but I don't) but they don't get to have a Christmas party! I guess that is Coke for ya though!!!

Pam, perhaps Coke is like all the other big companies out there, they are not "making" any money, so we have to cut corners someplace....while Mr. Big Executive is flying off in the company jet to someplace warm

Who's idea was it to buy Peanut M & M's and bring them in this house????? Gosh I love those things...........
