what's all this talk of big butts???? Its a good thing that i just showed you all a face shot of me---cause i think i would win your contest!!!

okay--my gripe of the day!!! I was all ready to take the kids to preschool this morning and one of my moms comes in with all 3 of her kids (this is the same one who griped because of the funeral) and i said "well jack(her son that is in school) what are you doing here this morning?" she then said--oh i forgot to tell you--he doesn't have school today! I said "well i don't know how i am going to get aubrey and garret to school then" she said "oh okay, give me kiss guys i gotta go to work"

I was so mad!! i then called one of the mom's that takes her kid to school but she wasn't home so my neighbor came to the rescue for me because garrets mom is anal and god forbid she do more than required!!

okay--gripe all done!

still home, cleaned out the fridge earlier and found a zucchini hid in the back.

now i am baking zucchini bread, which leads me to the store in a bit for the cream cheese.........



and, will go to the mall in about a couple of hours.

mmmmm.... i love zucchini bread!!! Are you sharing?!?!?

I should do that--she wouldn't know what to think!!! Then she had the nerve to tell me that he will only be here till noon and not to feed him--she only wants to do that so i won't charge her a whole day! Well to her suprise i am charging her a whole day because he will be here more than 4 hours!

about the address part! I have a toliet that i need to throw away that could magically apear on her roof!!!!

I just talked to Deena!! She said that she is still in Houston hasnt moved much at all and the problem is...she has been on the raod since 8pm last night!!!!

She doesnt think she is going to make it to her Aunts house and even more worried abotu running out of gas sitting in traffic!!!

One of our friends is trying to get a hold of her to get her to come there. She is in Katy texas, not out of the Huricane my any means, but AT LEAST she wouldnt be on the road when it hits!!!

I am very worried about our friend

Ok the friend got a hold of her too. Here is the latest. YES!! Her dh is in the truck behind her. She wants to jsut try to make it to her Aunts house becuase she isnt sure how long they are going to have to stay there.

She did find a gas station..so hopefully they dont A..run out of gas waiting in line and B..that the gas station doesnt run out of gas before she can get there. The line is extremely long.

I-45 is closed southbound. What everyone is hoping is that they open the southbound lane to Northbound traffic. That way, she MAY get to her Aunts by late late tonight.

Let's pray Houston gets it together and opens up the other side of the road!!!

OMG!!!!!! That is awful!!!! I truely hope she gets to safety!! That has to be sooo scary and to have little ones with you too! Oh my....I hope and pray that she gets to her aunts....where does her aunt live? is it out of the hurricanes path?

Oh MY....thank goodness you spoke with Deena and then passed the info on to us...how awful for her and her family......oh I pray she gets to a safe place before it hits.......what is the matter with these states that are prone to hurricanes and not being semi-prepared for evacuations??? We had a gigantic explosion in the office right after I got her today between the gal I'm assisting and the gal who got me my job....and the fur was flying, they both got called into the big boss office...and the gal I work with left...so here is little ole me trying to do my best and muddle through...I decided to have a working lunch, but I'm taking a few personal minutes to VENT....wow, this is crazy...but it has been brewing all week. AND...I was so thrilled about tomorrow off...well, come to find out she was not supposed to include me in the "we" aren't working on Fair day....so I agreed to come in very early and work 1/2 day, only because I have a gazillion errands to run tomorrow and don't want to do them on Saturday.......Oh woe is me...........

Glad I have you guys to gripe to and witch to about my sucky life right now...

Will check in tonight...and momma, if you talk to Deena again, PLEASE tell her I'm keeping her & her family in my prayers........

Evening friends...........what an overload on my system today.. I'm learning from the "make a mistake and learn a lesson" book and flying by the seat of my pants....plus most everyone in the office left this afternoon to work the school food service booth at the fair............well, I'm living to tell that I at least made it through the day.

I'm going in very early tomorrow and cutting out after lunch....I got screwed in this whole mess.........she not only had all the "drama" today, but she gets the day off (which I found out she is not supposed to take)....now she knows how far behind we are, and has let me know at least 1200 times she is not liking that I'm away in October....wouldn't you think she would have sucked it up today and stayed and worked? It's making more work for her in the long run (so she is ending up with a 4 day weekend).......oh well, I'll truck along and do the best I can....who knows, maybe the position will be mine next fall if things continue like this...........not sure how I feel about that. I even brought the manual home for the computer program that we use to read and try and see if I can figure out why the reports didn't print out correctly.

So, my problems are nothing compared to our friend Deena...I'm so worried for her...

Mac, any word on the tests your son had done? I've been thinking of him too.

Well, Aubrey is 4 plus a day and Ed is 40 plus a day............. hope both are doing well with only 364 days left til another birthday...

i missed the doctor call and found a message on my machine when i got home. doc isn't going to be in the office until monday morning as she is in surgery tomorrow.
ugh...........have to wait the weekend on this one. think it will be setting up the kidney biopsy.


cold and wet here. fall has arrived.

I did bring some pizza home for dave to take to work tomorrow! He likes it when i do that!

We are having a bday party for aubrey and my nephew on sat. night. their bdays are a day from each other. then next sat. we are having a little friend get together for her at mcdonalds. Not to big but atleast it is something--and she is sooooo excited to be 4. She woke up this morning and said...mommy guess what? I am still 4 years old! i thought it was kinda cute lol!

oh and that Athome america lady called me today!! I am going to have a show on oct 5th. I can then decide if i want to sell it or if i just wanted to have the show. I have to say right now i am leaning towards selling it...it seems like a good deal and if i don't like it all i have to do is sell $1000 and i get like $500 which is the starter kit free! well not free for $38.00 is all it will cost me to start up...it is looking very appealing to me!

Just a quick check in guys. I spent aroubnd 20 hours on the road only to end up a hour away from my house basically.
Thanks to cheri (bumcat) we have a place to stay. we filled our gas tanks before we left but sitting on the freeway uses it all up. We were lucky we got to top off our tanks. I have a friend stuck out on the road low on gas and no hotels or shelters and stuck in horrendous traffic.
