So let's see.....I can get on Pammapamma-pizza-girl by saying that Boston won their 8th straight game today..........and YES, I'll regret saying this, those boys in those red hose like to build me up and then take me down....but it looks as though her Yanks are going to pull one out tonight....Jason Giambi hit 2 home runs.........guess he drank his juice today

Speaking of refreshments, it would be nice to have a cool one tonight...its still stinkin' hot here............with no relief in sight....hopefully it will break before Adam heads to OC later this month....so they won't burn their feet trying to walk on that sand...

Don't worry about us.The way I figure it, the ocean water temp is now 74 in OC. When we get down there it should be at least 76. We all are doing sandal shopping next week (at least for the girlfolk in the family) us guys already have them. If the sand is too hot for my tootsies, I guess I'll just have to retire to the condo or an establishment that offers imbibable pleasures close by. Hey, I'm on vacation but I will always remember that Brenda is on it too. She was worried that she would be doing dishes in the condo but I informed her that I have budgeted enough for us to eat out (or order in) for every meal of our vacation. She will not have to ask Calgon for any help on this vacation. If anything, she will have to call the restaurant to order the food. I know....life is tough.

My next plan is to make contact with the hotel across the street. I found out that they have a pool but my condo does not. I will use my usual charm to try to befriend an employee of that establishment and try to strike a deal to allow my family use of their pool. It will probably cost a little but it may be well worth it in the long run. Negotiating is in my blood!

Hey, schmoozing never hurts and more power to ya on getting the use of the pool.....don't forget you will have the biggest "pool" of all directly in front of the sand.......I'll be anxious to hear how that all goes for you....I love when little perks come our way.........

Glad you are treating Brenda to a "no" cooking vacation...I'm sure she appreciates that a lot....I would/do....Do you guys like seafood? I'm sure you know all about Maryland blue crabs.............not my thing, but hubby loves them.......I love to get cheese popcorn on the boardwalk and I love salt water taffy and boardwalk fries....yum............all fun treats at the beach. Just talking about it here I know you guys will have a blast. Do people still go to the Purple Moose in OC? Honestly, I've not been to OC in years, my boys were little guys...so it has been some time.

Speaking of little perks...here's a funny one for ya.........and I know Pam wouldn't do this in her pizza life...

I went into Pizza Hut to pick up my pizza I ordered today, and the guy was cutting breadsticks and boxing them up... and he says to me "do you like breadsticks"......so of course I say yes, and he says "well, take these, it was an order I don't need" so I say "oh thank you, how nice and its my lucky day"...he turns to box my pizza, then comes back to the counter and says "sorry, I DO need those breadsticks back afterall"...............

So Deena is busy rebuilding her townhouse to hopefully start a new career, and I guess Momma has left the building for Houston..........to hopefully meet with Deena for lunch....I for one miss them both, but know how busy they are.............

I'm sure you know all about Maryland blue crabs.............not my thing, but hubby loves them.......I love to get cheese popcorn on the boardwalk and I love salt water taffy and boardwalk fries....yum............all fun treats at the beach. Just talking about it here I know you guys will have a blast. Do people still go to the Purple Moose in OC? Honestly, I've not been to OC in years, my boys were little guys...so it has been some time.

Yes, I do love crabs but Maryland blues are no comparison to JERSEY BLUE CLAW crabs. I am the real seafood lover in the family. Brenda loves shrimp, flounder and cod and I can get the kiddies to eat most fried fis except for my 14 DD. She hates the thought of killing and swimming among fish. To each her own I say.

The fries (Thrashers) are one of my favorites as well as the taffy and cheese popcorn. We have a DQright next to us as well as a CANDY shop so those treats will be at our disposal.

Now, The Purple Moose is a different animal. That is one of the establishments that I frequent when I go to OC. Remember, I attend both Dover (Delaware) NASCAR races each year and set aside a day to spend in OC. I love to go there to listen to DJ Batman, play Maryland Lottery Keno and imbibe a little bit. It is one of my favorite watering holes. That and the Caribbean bar just across the street from there.
