Ok Deena - I am at the Omni Hotel westside. We arent going to Austin, and Lee was talking about going to some mall with an indoor skating rink in Houston, if you know where that is. However, he will be with me. So, its your call, but Friday Lunch should work for us.

Mac - you are going to have to keep us going when we all leave. And again in Oct when the four of us are out of town. But no worries, we will all be here on the 19th.

Mic - I ordered more shirts from VS for the trip. I hope they get here tomorrow so I can use them for this trip as well, but at least I will have them for Sept.

Pam - two more days until you get a break!!! WHOO HOOO!

Adam - thanks for the food. Intelligent conversations..I think you are pushing it with this group. No thinking on this test thread. Just joking and fun..it takes too much effort for me to think.

Have u guys seen the new VS jeans? I think they are a little expensive, even with the sale, but I have my eye on them. I need a new pair of jeans anyway, and I've heard good things about jeans from them over all.

have to take todd back to school........think we are going to leave at midnight (12:01 the 19th) get there early, eat breakfast then move him in.
its an all day affair.

he ALWAYS forgets something and then its a run to the walmart........this kid gets expensive.....

i'll get a room for that night as the day and drive back will be too long for me.
i will be back on the 20th i guess unless i get a wild hair up the asphalt and go drive to nebraska with cheap toilet paper.............

i have to leave around 9:45.

on wednesdays, i take people from my church to the local food bank as they have needs.

i ususally go to the food bank around or before 7 to get a number.
then go home and later pick the disabled man up around 9:30 and take him there. i am his proxy so he doesn't need to go but he loves getting out of the house so i do it his way.

if i can get a low number 1-2-3 then all i have to do is go to their prayer and scripture reading (food bank in a church garage) and wait for my number, get the food, take the guy home and then i am back at my house within the hour.

you can go at 6:55 and get a number then return later. people are called by the number they have. if you miss your number, you go to the end of the line and get another number.

this morning was wild. i got number 18.............geez louise, that's gonna be a 3 hour wait......................but, it's got to be done.

so play nice when i am gone.
i have my fingers crossed that people don't come back in time for their number and i can sail thru this.
the food for 5 people only lasts about 3 days.
i used to buy groceries for this family but not working in the summer so i had him sign up for the food help.

some people left before their numbers were called, my lucky day........i got in quicker than what it could have been.

Momma, can't say that I've looked at Vicky jeans or for that matter anything Vicky....this butt wouldn't fit in any of her clothing........ But I bet you look gorgeous in any of the clothes..........isn't it nice when you find stuff you like and fits well.....makes shopping so much more fun.

Your babies will be back home, aren't you excited?? I bet you have missed them bunches...although you were under the weather for part of the time so maybe you didn't.......... They will be glad to see you I bet. The wedding sounds fun...you will just be gone the weekend?

I leave on Oct. 9th, and will have computer access for most of that week, so I'll do my part to keep things rolling along....the second week we go to DL and then my last part of the trip I'll be able to get back online. We don't return east until 10/27.........

I went to the Dr. this a.m.....and you all are still stuck with me.. I appear to be pretty healthy!! My blood pressure was taken 3 different times and was really normal 120..........so he feels that I may suffer from high blood pressure, but because of my dieting..............I've "treated" my symptoms myself with no meds.......... I also had an EKG done which appeared normal, and gave blood for cholesteral testing....that remains to be seen what is up there. The Dr. scale upon weigh in was the same exact thing as my home scale said, so now I know the home version if pretty accurate.........and I need to still drop a couple #'s.........getting back to work should help me out there....... Oh and I got a freebie from my visit, he gave me a blood pressure machine to monitor myself at home....now wasn't that nice like that cost isn't hidden somewhere, but insurance should pick it all up so that is good. I really wasn't stressing about the blood pressure issue, and I'm glad I'm theraputically helping myself.

Ok, so Adam is saying our conversations don't seem too "intellectual"... after a year with us, he has figured us out..........that would spoil all our fun if we showed our intellectual sides........ His reader digest version of our conversations yesterday are right on

Pam, did you get that phone programmed? If it is silver, put it on a chain and wear it as your accessory on silver day.........

Yep, dragging out vacation in October as long as I can..we will enjoy every minute I'm sure..........well not every minute, we are family you know, and you know how quick you can grate on someone's nerves.......LOL....

My grandson starts school on the 15th, so when they get over that hump, I need to really get serious and talk with them. When we head out to CA...we have a couple extra days to play, only doing I think 3 in the parks, so we need to think what else we want to do. We are thinking of heading to the coast...dh hubby wants to see the Pacific.......I've seen it a long time ago. But whatever, we will have fun. Universal is out by DL too, so that is a possiblity...........again, planning is 1/2 the fun.

Just in for a quick howdy. I have spent the last 2 days waiting on home depot and I havent been to happy. Day 1 they only sent 1 guy to deliver my stuff that was supposed to be taken inside. He said no, he was just supposed to leave it there
So yesterday I waited for the "take it in" guys who were 1.5 hours late getting there.
I need a laptop so I can Dis from my dang car. Anyway didnt forget about you guys.
Now Im looking toward my vacation even more, lol.

Yes, ds has a Disney Visa and I'm authorized user....are these new deals or the ones that run through the end of Sept.? I may use the card while we are away to get a few points. It takes forever to rack up points on that thing.
