it is sooooooooo nice being home now. that and the vicodin has kicked in.

hubby and #1 son on k. island and won't be home until 9 sunday night.
another son still in mexico.........he did email me and asked i activate his atm card. took me two days to figure out his secret code...and they say moms really know their sons..
the good son, or thats what he is calling himself, is now home with me.
playing video games, and says he doesn't want to do six flags tonight.
phooey..........wasting my good pill and not going on a roller coaster ride...

anywho, good thing it is summer time ...i could never get away with these run on sentences and dangling participals, and the changing of the thought pattern, but haven't misspelled too many words yet.....wait, let me re read what i wrote, i forgot what i was going to say..

oh yea, food, so todd wants me to pick up chinese food tonight. he said i shouldn't have to cook........cook, where is the kitchen ..........oh yea, i see it and somebody better get in that kitchen real quick and do the dishes that are in the sink. but it is quiet and i could work on my disney plans and the money i have to make in sept for it....

i did the laundry and didn't vaccum, but the cats don't care, as long as they are fed they are satisfied...kind of like the boys here, you feed, give them clean clothes, pay the electric bill so they can then watch tv and play videos.

dang, forgot what i was going to say again. think i will have them deliver the food. can't make todd go get it, as i told him i would do the dinner. well, if i pay for it then thats as good as making the dinner, right.? yea, right.

sorry, have to go feed the cats now. this will be a good one, baby mommy is diabetic and i give her insulin injections every 12 hours with the dm food.

Did the dinner thing and I'm back..........whew........mac's last post made me dizzy..........must be spin-off from her meds trans whatevering to me via cyberspace...

Yes, I did a little shopping today and got a couple things....but the best thing I got was new pillows for my you know what that I'm getting...told ya I'd have to get all new stuff..........now I have a quilt narrowed down to 2, one is on ebay and one is online at Penney's.........ebay is cheaper, but I'm leaning towards Penney's, cause if I decide I don't like it, I can return it...ebay is a done deal if I get it there.....hmmmmmmm...I hate decisions... I can say this much, I'm looking at patriotic quilts...red/white/blue....my favorite stuff...there was an All-American Mickey Mouse one last summer in the catalog...story of my life, always a year behind wanting the trendy stuff.

I found some capri's and a couple sleeveless tops that will be perfect for work on sale...pretty good deal.........I need to put the pants on again, they are VERY colorful and striped............don't want to be mistaken for Omar the Tent Man when I wear them... Ya know, have to do the whole thing in front of the mirror to make sure they look ok.

It is quite humid here this afternoon, even though the temps are down...feels very sticky and uncomfortable......yuck....

So, did the Chinese food come yet? Whatcha getting? I fixed hot dogs for my son....and dh wants fried fish..........do you know what Whiting fish is? I will fry that up and he will make a fish sandwich with it.........yuck...I don't like it at all......... See Pam, I will make a fine lunch lady....

Is our Momma shopping online again today or just resting? I don't see posts from her...hope she is feeling mucho better today....maybe she is interviewing prospective housecleaners...........

Mac - you got rid of a lot of people!! I agree with todd, no cooking...while we are at it, no cleaning or ironing!!! Enjoy the no husband thing.

Mic - I m sorry i havent been around much. But I did recieve the "package" you sent me today. Thank you so much very thoughtful of you.

So, here is the freaking low down of my day. I sent Lee chocolates to work from the kids, and of course, he left work early and didnt get them. Then, I had a babysitter all set up, but f course dyslexia kicks in and i wrote the phone number down wrong. UGH!! So, instead of Ruths Chris..we ended up at Fridays for his bday dinner with Samantha. THEN..my clothes that I paid an extra 20 for overnight shipping didnt come. They wont be here until Monday. So, this weekend, I have to go shopping for a dress for the wedding because if the one doesnt fit, I wont have time to exchange it.

I felt bad for Lee. I didnt mean to ruin his bday by not getting his gift to him and not taking him to a nice dinner. As it turns out, we sent the steak from Fridays back. Nice wife I am.

I did get him the satalite NFL package so we can get the Redskins Games here. So, he liked that. But over all, I felt really bad.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Lee..........you didn't ruin it, you just put a little hitch in the festivities.......and its his fault for leaving work early....he can have a sweet treat on Monday instead...and dinner should have been fine because he got to share it with two beautiful gals......... and that should count for a LOT.....

You are so welcome for the little nothing I sent...you will enjoy it...like I said, I never read a book twice, but for some reason I could read that one again...steamy

That sucks about paying for shipping and it doesn't show up, hope they are going to give you credit or whatever..........grrrrrrrrr....that is the kind of stuff that makes me mad...

Mac, my roommate would never read my posts...so he won't be redoing any rooms or trading me in on a newer model............ You were looking for me, I've been obsessing over this one quilt I like, trying to surf all over the net to make sure I'm getting the best price/deal.......and I did not see this particular pattern in any store I was in today.....

school in our area just changed to a late august start. we used to start around august 16, the second tuesday in the month. don't know why they changed it this year.
