Good morning everyone and safe airport journey to Mac. Not a very good start to the day with the terrorist attacks in London and a hurricane heading for my friends in Jamaica. I hope all of you are well today. I have to head out for a dentist visit in a few and then off to take my DS for his "procedure". I hope you all have a wonderful day.

I honestly wonder where the years have gone........oh yeah, that's right 2 kids and 2 grandkids later........... We are lucky we have each other, cause I doubt anyone else would put up with either of us...

Yes, we are off to Baltimore this afternoon to see our beloved men in those red hose, going early so we don't hit traffic and probably walk around the Inner Harbor til we can get in the stadium for the 7 p.m. game....I do think it is being televised on ESPN, so I'll wave to ya!

hmmmmmm....wind blowing will be most likely dependent on a) what time the game is over b) how long it takes to get back home c) AND IF THE RED SOX WIN OR LOSE ....this definitely will be the mood maker or breaker Its about a 60 miles trek, so we'll see if wind conditions are the same in both directions My goal today is to see a couple of the players up close....my man Johnny and of course Papi....I'm worse than a kid...............got the camera ready...wish me luck.

Mac, how long will your son be on his trip? Did going to the airport all go ok? Hope he has a good trip.

today i am off to go to 7 different stores to return all the items the son did not want/ did not need for his trip.

we left before 4 this morning and had zero traffic to ohare. got there in 52 minutes........dropped him off and drove back home and did have traffic then. he will be gone for 5 weeks. he is going full time to a private college in mexico, long hours.....classes 8 am to 5 pm every day and cultural trips as assignments on the weekends.

get this, the kid only had $14 in his wallet when i dropped him off. good thing i said, hey how much money are you carrying. he said, let me see, um 14, think that will hold me for awhile?
he emptied out my wallet big time........to the tune of $50 smackeroos.
when i calmly yelled and screamed at him after telling him how much i did love him, by the way it made me feel soooo much better doing that he said, well, i can' t spend dollars there, have to convert to pesos..................

Ed: how is mrs ed doing with the ankle. report time ed

adam: i know you are with your son and wife now. please be assured that all of us here are thinking of you and praying for all to fine. let us know how you and the family and son are doing. give us updates please.

Deena..... you are the gal.............I know how you feel, I'm usually the "planner" for any type of family trip whatever, so I know how important those details can be............you are much appreciated and you are good about the teasing..........so when is your credit card due????

Wow thats a long time to be married Mic. Congrats. David and I are but newlyweds still on our honeymoon Its just 6 years for us but we have been together 10 (it took him 4 to realize there was no escape! bwhahahah)

Same here. One best friend (the one who just lost her dad) we have been friends for 22 years and my other best friend for 17.

Lifetime best friends are wonderful....they always are there to listen...most of my lifetime friends are spread out over the country, but I know that if I needed an "ear" they are there to listen. I've made some new friends that are on their way to being lifers too............ Glad I've met you guys
