Sorry, I took my 15yo for an MRI on his knee last week and the followup visit was this morning. The doc said he smashed it up pretty good and he wants him to go for a CT scan this afternoon. This test will determin if he needs surgery or not. Looks like his wrestling season/career is all but over.

adam, i am so sorry about your teen. it is devastating to have him sidelined during wrestling season. sports are so very important to young people. cheer him up, take him to disney!

Jules, hope you are feeling better too, pop in after work today and report to us.....those little kids are good at spreading germs around, when I babysat I always got everything they did......

We just had a cloud burst of sorts and it rained pretty hard, so I'm holding off on running errands for a bit til it lets up....

P.S. for mac...its good that the Yanks beat the O's last night...cause we lost, so we stayed even for first place.............go Yanks............that is about the only time you will hear that from me....LOL

HOLY MOLY my friends...ya know it takes little to make me happy.....

WELL, when I brought the mail in today, I got what looked to be an ad for Disneyland packages, so I open it open just to see what they might be offering...........well, it had notification that my photo I sumitted last winter is part of the Happiest Faces on Earth collage at Disneyland! I got the location to go find it when we go in the fall. It is in the Steamboat Mickey collage.............I had given up hope of it having made it as they started putting the collages up back in late May and I had not heard a thing...SEE patience is a virtue......I'm thrilled, by son, his wife and grandson are a part of the 50th Anniversary! I hope they make posters of the collages, that would be so neat............

now, if I could just settle on our rooms....I can't really afford the resorts in DL, which we've done before anyway and although its nice, (it's just not the same as WDW and not a big deal if you stay in regular chains)...I've been reading good reports, bad reports of places I've picked, so now I'm in a tizz trying to iron it all out...................

Now, I have a question for you guys. I could just go on the boards and ask some random people, but I trust you guys more. I still have passes for Universal that I didn't get to use last year. So, what's a good (and cheap) hotel to stay at for Universal, that has transportation to the parks ?

i have some names of off site hotels jules.
days inn is about a 10 minute walk and they have a shuttle for $2. a person.
the amerihost,think that is the name also cheap.
let me look thru my stuff and i can give more info to you.

there are coupons out for days inn and it depends on the season you go, could be as low as $40 a night.

when do you plan to go?
i will be at universal oct 7
