Mic, the way you worded your emotions was beautiful. I think we can all identify with the feelings you expressed with something in our lives that were close to us also. I can only hope and pray that you will find something that will not only fill the "empty" spot that was left behind but be bountiful enough to enlarge that spot. You certainly deserve it.

Does this mean I can be a relative also? :earboy2:

Adam

Mic - I am sorry you had to say goodbye to something that has been such a part of you for a long time. I know how hard that must be.

And good for you for having a big ole peice of cake and I am sure you made the waiters day!! I will be home in Sept. I am going to go to the mall and meet you for lunch!!!

I hope you all are having a good Sunday. We are off to take the kids to get a haircut, and grocery store. Not much fun huh?

Deena - I think Pam is going to chime in for triplets! LOL!!

Adam - you are an important part of our family and dont you forget it.

i'm so excited........here we have mic getting that job with the airlines and now standing in line for our discounts..............

now mic, if you don't get that job, we will love you anyway.............we just love to dream here............but remember if we do, i am related to you........

Mac - how is your weekend thus far?

It is 70's here all week and the kids finally start preschool. Tuesday is their first day..whoo hoo. Now I am still hoping MIL doesnt show.

typical weekend, living in the kitchen today..........

outside its about 30 degrees and to drop tonight.

for the next few days after that should have a warm up to about 38/40 and then next frid/sat down to 5 degrees..............guess i won't be needing my suncreen this week.

ocm, you have a good week ahead..........nicco goes to school.......and just the princesses will be with you. that is good, when they are the age of your dds, they can keep good secrets..........they never tell.........lol

sorry just reread your last post, two kidlettes going to preschool. that is a double whoo hoo for you.................

at sammie's age, she is very portable and can go anywhere on a whim.

i miss those days.

Evening all...you guys are gems...I mean it!!! I love each and every one of you...you always say the right things!! Thanks and lots of :grouphug: 's for all of you!

Well, we started at 8 a.m. and we left at at 6:10 this evening. For the most part stuff s packed up...some left to do, but I was mostly on clean up detail, throwing out stuff, sorting through cabinets of supplies and running to the trash hopper...LOL...I was the Trash Queen today!! My arms and feet hurt so bad...not used to all that lifting and stuff. We had a couple good laughs, in fact a good laughing fit later in the day (can you say slap happy at that point)...and as each gal was leaving and saying goodbye, they would cry and get all all started again. I stood at the backstage door and looked out over the place one last time before I left....it breaks my heart they are coming in to just smash and demolish all the animation....I could NEVER be there for that...that would really hurt me. So, for me it is done.

Now, I doubt this airline thing will work out, but you all can be sure that I will list all my brothers, sisters and children on the application, so everyone can share :flower1: Any place should I decide to go back to some type of work will have all of you in mind for perks...LOL...and even though I said I was done with CP, I'm looking at an option of transferring...but only if they will agree to what days and what hours I'm willing to work. I just want to weigh everything before I am terminated for good.

So, hope everyone enjoyed their Sunday, guess the guys watched football playoffs, and the girls went and spent their hubby's money... :earboy2: I'm going to shower and watch TV and no doubt pass out......hopefullly I'll check in after a bit before konking out for good.

Mic - you go relax you deserve it!!!

Sammie is asleep, which means I will be up for most of the night. We are going to try to put her in her own room and her own crib tonight..I hope she sleeps better there!!!

i'm home for church now and it looks like not much happening here today.
guess everyone has taken an easy day today.

tomorrow the rat race starts again.
and, i hope we have grub and mr. sun tomorrow......hint hint.

i'll be back later. home from church and no one bothered to clean up the kitchen for me while i was gone. i must live with heathens here..........

mac, I forgot to mention that "my" people will gladly talk to your "people" and arrange for us to do lunch..................... :flower1: now that was funny...

yeah, my bunch was sitting around too when I got home...waiting patiently for Ms. Pizza Hut to serve dinner........... :earboy2:

Ocm, good luck with our little princess tonight...hope she sleeps with angels keeping an eye on her and sleeps all night for you, wouldn't that be a treat!!! I had a non-sleeper so I can only say....so sorry for those with the same type baby...........nocturnal vampire....that is what I was beginning to believe I had birthed........LOL...

so mic, you had a non sleeper also???

wow, i thought i was the only one.
#2 son didn't sleep through the night until he was 27 months old. #3 son was 5 months old at that time and he was sleeping all night then.

when i say sleeping thru the night that's exactly what i mean.
son would go to sleep at 8 in the evening then wake up at 11........then off to sleep around 3 in the morning then wake up at 5.............i was a walking zombie.

those days i do not miss.

and mic, i did mean that, have your people call my people...............

oh gosh, I hate to admit this, but #1 son was SUCH a horrible sleeper...lets say he spent more time awake than asleep, and none of that "let him cry" stuff worked, if I had done that, he would still be crying and not asleep, that I finally just let him sleep with us...IT was the only way to get sleep. #2 son was no time at all and he would sleep all night til about 5:30 or 6 a.m. and he couldn't wait to go to sleep either....what a difference in those two. Dear grandson is following in his father's footsteps...he is giving them a small fit with sleeping......................I always told my son that one day he would know what it was like to walk in my shoes..... :earboy2:

So don't think you were alone...I know of what your speak! #2 had some issues with belly aches and I thought OH NO another vampire..LOL...but we did some adjusting by slanting the mattress in his crib and holding him in a more upright manner when he took his bottle, and we solved his tummy troubles.

Hey Mac - why didnt tehy clean up? Dont they knwo it is in the contract? LOL! If they live in your house, they have to clean.

Too funny that we all had non sleepers. I remember being pregnant with julie and Nico wasnt sleeping and I had to go to the doctor and fell asleep on the road. Those exhaustion days are not going to happen this time around. I am taking pills with caffine to help.

This is no lie ladies, I used to sit and cry with #1 just pleading with him to go to sleep for an hour so I could rest..................who would ever think the little vampire would turn into my ever loving son...LOL....

against my better judgement, i took a teaching job today with 13 year olds for american history.............i just know i will regret this class......

mic: sleeping in today?? no work and no housecleaning for you
ocm: caffeine pills work like coffee..........that's why i load up on it every morning

boys: time to rise and shine, need coffee, grub and sunshine please :flower1:

Good Monring Mac!! Are you off to school today or do you get a break?

Mic I believe you about the pleading and crying. Sammie is defiantely been the easiest of them all. Nico was by far the worst. Once, I hope, she start cereal she will be a much better sleeper.

Oh i took American History at 13!!! I am so sorry for you. LOL!

you know, most kids at the age of 13 just don't really care about history.

it will be a day of note passing, spit balls, having someone in the back of the room yell out, oh sh** and then "no one" will know who that was, type of deal, and the laughter and talking....................and if we don't have a movie, it will be worse!!

ocm: ever think to yourself that nicco would be an only child since he wasn't one to sleep........................

i cried during my second pregnancy thinking how in the world will i survive!
prayed for not having another repeat............sleepless one.

Good morning all. I hope this brand new week finds all of you in good health. I'll look for something to eat.
