i workd craft fairs for several yers while firtst wief and i were together was my full time job,, i traveled around country making cedar keyrings with names on them, i covered arkansas texas louisianna mississippi and did 1 fair in st louis and one in raliegh nc, afterwe split i came home and went back into carpentry, now i have aefw items in a local consignment shop and the rest go by word of mouth, but we are t hinking seriously about starting traveling to area shows and going a little more into the handcrafted items vs genereal carpentry, have even considered setting up a tent on a local parking lot once a month , i tend to make unussual items that are either one of a kinnds or large furniture sized pieces, see chest in earlier pics
we know it is extra income, and dw loves painting the decoration type pieces, we made christmas decorations for several years, scrollsaw and band saw type items, really nice peices, but not really that big a seller
now i'm moving more into home decor pieces candfle sticks, lamps, andthat type stuff
