Good morning...

I was just enjoying the beautiful sunrise ed, when the phone rang...seems my oldest seriously cut his finger at work and is on way to hospital...not sure of the detailsl, he was trying to locate DIL...oh...its always something to keep you churned up inside...

But I refuse to be a worry wort until I hear what is actually going on....

I will let one of you have the 6666 post...and wow, that is a whole lot of posting....go for it anyone...

Ok, I'm trying to not worry...but I am....

Well, I'll start my morning over and say good morning again...

DIL called me back and said son was done at emergency room and was OK....stitches in finger and thumb...he's not sure what happened, working with a power tool and that is all he remembers, until co-workers brought him around and wrapped his hand up....Dr. said by having his wedding ring on, it deflected a lot worse damage across all of his hand....could have been a lot worse...bad enough for Mom to panic some, but all is well....he is a trouper, on his way back to the site to work for the day...thank goodness...see, you never stop fretting over your kids...I just wanted to be with him, just like when he was 4 or 5 and took a tumble....sappy, I know...I'll quit now. LOL

Thanks for the extra cheering ed and pam, that helped You are good friends!

and yes, why is everyone else not up? I think ocm is out of the house this a.m. I"m sure she'll pop in later...

mac, I was tired last night and couldn't sit in front of the computer any longer...sorry...I promise another night to stay up with you...

m4e--i am so glad to hear that your ds is alright!! HE WENT BACK TO WORK!!!!! Wow--he is a real trooper--i would have used it as an excuse to get pampered!! maybe that is just the woman in me!!!!

I know what you mean about wanting to be with them! My ds is 9 and when there are other kids that are mean to him while they are playing i want to step in and stick up for him, but i usually refrain from that because i know that he needs to learn how to stick up for himself--and he usually does!! So i always worry for nothing!!!

Our company is now oficially merged and they unveiled the new logo this morning. Lot's of hoopla and breakfast to boot. (Finally, someone serving me breakfast for a little change.) Sooooo, I gues I have to provide lunch to y'all.

mic, wow, that is absolutely horrible what happened to your son. if that happened to me, i would be in the car right now driving there. even if he didn't want me to.

i have spent most of this morning trying to scrounge pollsters for the two threads..............and then on the phone with universal to secure hhn tickets and passes.....................my cousin and his other want to go now. before i got off the phone with universal travel i had her check out vacancies. get this,,, all three hotels on site are totally booked full for october weekends with the exception of one cancellation that just went thru for oct 9 and 10 for royal pacific hotel. wow..............i had no idea it was that hot of an event. called cousin and told him to call now for that room. they are not sharing a bed with me..................................now i am hungry and have to hunt down some food, kill it , clean it and fix it. maybe i should just go to the local deli and get a low cal sandwich........................

M4E - I am glad to hear that your son is ok. I know, my grandmother use to tell us it doenst matter if your kids are 5 or 50 you never stop worrying.

Pam - Thanks for asking..it went fine. I got yelled at for not going as often as I am suppose to...but oh well. It is hard to schedule that iwht kids.

Mac - I am sorry..we will play another night for sure.

Mac I vote for the deli. I am not a huge sandwhich person, but that does sound good.

i forgot i can't do the deli sandwich. anything the color white i am not eating this week.

can't decide between carrots, lettuce or jello.


this big decisions are tough................................

i stepped on the scale this morning and saw i was the same weight so that panicked me. what if i ate something with lots of calories and would gain weight later this week..........upsetting to say the least.

so color white is out. even though i never eat white bread only wheat i know there is something white in it.

thanks all for well wishes...I talked to DIL again and she said he is doing fine, sore but fine..thank goodness...mac, I would love to drive out to be with him, but right now he is working in San Diego, by the time I drove out his fingers will be all better...LOL He will be driving back to AZ on Friday so I'm sure DIL will give him the extra tender care he needs (and like a man will milk it for all its worth...sorry ed, froggy and adam, but you guys are like that... )

Adam, sounds like big festivities at your work...glad all is well...were you able to secure a raise out of the whole merger? that would be neat I like dining with a view of the ocean, thanks for setting that up...

mac, I know...nothing white , I've not had a potatoe, white bread (rolls, biscuits nada) since I started my plan to lose...I use Splenda which is white, but otherwise, if it's white, its usually a no-no... Also, October is now a big time in Orlanda, lots of conventions and stuff going on...it used to be quiet, but they played it up so much as a "good time" to visit, it is overrun now. Universal has the Halloween stuff as does Disney, so a very busy time, but you will have fun!!! Bet you can't wait....I want to go down one year for Halloween. ..also Knott's Berry Farm in CA has a great Halloween bash they throw, I want to do that one day too....but doubtful I'll get out for that....one can dream
