i avoid sams club on the weekends. it is next to a walmart and difficult to even get parking...i always do those two stores during the week.....................i spend too much when i go there. i usually have to wait until my freezer is low before i shop there. i hit sams about three times a year.

I don't usually "do" these things on a Saturday either, especially the first Saturday of the month AND a holiday weekend, but I really needed to get in and get a few things....it really wasn't too bad, no long waits and I was done. When we go to Costco/Sams with son/wife in Phoenix, it is like a zoo...I cannot fathom all the people in the store, in the parking lot...everywhere..too manny people out there for me....I understand of course when you only go 3 times a year...you do need time, energy and concentration!!!!

yes, I too am going to dig out some DVD's and sit down and be quiet...no distractions I hope...spending money sure does wear a girl out...see ya later...enjoy CSI....I have never watched it...it looks good, just never got into it...

tonight a repeat of Hawaii some other crime drama is being shown...I missed it Monday, so might try and catch it...its either nothing is on TV or everything is on at the same time...

Hey Mic and Mac . Sorry I wasnt around, Lucy came to clean the house and I was feeling aweful this morning. So, it has been a little crazy here.

I need to go to Target and get some more tupperware containers. Big huge ones that fit all of our stuff in. Trying to condense the amount boxes in my storage rooms.

I am childless..sent them off to NJ with DH's family. WHOO HOOO!! I really am spoiled.

I missed the sunrise and the breakfast this morning too. I hope Adam is off having fun and I hope Ed is having a good time.

I'm enjoying solitude also, just watched "40 Days/40 Nights"...it was kinda funny, although I missed the beginning of it...ocm have you seen it? You would appreciate all the standing at attention that happens in this flick...LOL...it was cute...must try and catch it when I can see the whole thing...watching some DVD's now, just decided to check in..

and leave it to ocnbkm to work the rodeo while we are away...

maybe some of the gang will stop in later and we can all catch up....in the meantime....don't let the cowboy get restless...keep him occupied...

hello everyone!!! Sorry i haven't checked in until now--have been pretty busy today!! Haven't started the princess room yet--decided to start cleaning carpets instead--i think next time i will pay to have it done!!! I hope to get a start on the room this weekend dh wants to go to the state fair tomorrow so the only day we will have to work on it is monday. Next saturday i get my new tile layed in my kitchen!!!! I am so excited!!!

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well tonight!!!

geesss first the comp dies, then dsl provblems,, now to darn busy to get time to type we are finishing up the bbq cook off this week, doubt i get much pc time this week either, we found out friday that there is someone going around town telling customers that dw and i had shut our business down and gone under,Starting tuesday i am going to start putting bizz cards all over town, posting fliers on every bb around, and trying to get my bizz back into gear. I feel like i'm startng from scratch all over again.

its just a scared competitor and they arent gutsy enough to see me face to face. Just love small town rumor mills. We are actually considering moving and restarting there. ( we here theres a pretty good chance to find construction work in florida) we thought about another town in arkansas , or something , see if we can find some place there is a building boom and head out, but we are goingto make it at least another 2 months till after the next round of surgery, maybe by then things will be better here.

Whatever you decide, it will all work out in the long term...things always happen for a reason....I just know you and family will turn this all around and be prosperous.

i just love small topwn posturing for favor,, this guy really thinks hes being smart by telling people i went under, yet then when i show up askingabout worek,, hes the one that looks foolish, I've been heaing grapevine rumors all summer about several other area contractors, while we are all very slow and there is very little work out right now, I think we are all going to pull through, i heard today from one of my friends that he may take a crew out to fla rouond november for a yera or so, and if he does i may go along, depends really on the lkocal market. but the figures areshowing that the rebuildinmg in fla will have a lot of extra construction hands working in fla next three to five yeras so that may be w here we end up.
