Dave passed!!!! Now one more test to go and he is off to work.

We have a busy weekend here this weekend. Tonight is the annual bunco tourney. Tomorrow I have a bridal shower for one of my best friends and then it will be off to the circus for us minus one of us...trent thinks he is to old to go to the circus i told him he is just scared that they won't let him leave Sunday Noah has to sing in church and then his basketball tourneys start.

Have fun this weekend tony. Sounds like it would be a good time.

mic--i know what you mean about an extra hour of shut eye. Glad you didn't get much of the white stuff. Our white stuff is almost gone...hope that means when the snow is gone the cold weather is gone.

Morning all -- home with the little guy today. We got 3-4 inches of snow overnight and it's still coming, so I'm not sure if we're heading out anywhere or just hanging out at home today.

i'm nominating myself for wife & ma of the week scored 2 penguin tix for DH & jr ; peanut heaven - at least they'll get to see them live-against the Ducks (out of san jose now; when did they leave anaheim?). Neat thing ticketmaster has i didn't know about...sporting events they sell there is a fan site whereby season tix holders resell their tix thru them.

Just things that make you go 'hmmmm...I see where Valerie Bertinelli is now disclosing in her new book and on Oprah that she cheated on her then husband Eddie VanHalen.....like why do you have to disclose that to the world? for what purpose and secondly, who gives a rat patootie as far as I'm concerned, it just makes her look bad and she doesn't need to make this big confession

J-Lo had her twins, possibly the first person ever to do so......... A boy and girl, so she has the ready made 2.5 kids I guess now

I only have a quick minute, but I wanted to let you know that my GC arried in the mail the other day. Thank you so much and I will fill you in in the next shopping spree. I think I am going to wait until Sept/Oct when they have all their summer clearence going on. We shall see.

KS, the pics go to People Magazine bouncing to the tune of 6 million....now JLO, really, are you and Mark that economically strapped that you couldn't have taken a little less? I love celebs and sports celebs who always claim "it isn't about the money"....bull hocky for sure...

I don't begrudge people the money they've earned, but it is so amazing to me with all the heartache and little kids that go without everyday in this country, that have life threatening illnesses and have no insurance, or that don't have food or warm clothes, that 6 million dollars can be spent to print a photo of some celebs baby...it just seems so whacked out..and I speak of kids in the good ole USA that need help

Mic - I agree..This horrible weather has got to go!! It's cold and windy here. Also, I am with you on the 6 million for the picture. WTH! But then again, I don't buy people magazines or keep up with the Stars. I didn't know she was pregnant.

Bob - i remember watching Nico play in the snow with my brother. He always had this huge smile on his face. Fun times

Keisha - there is no reason you have to get dressed. You can stay nakkie all day if you feel like it. Everyone needs days like that.

Mac - have you planned your disney trip for next fall? I'm sure you will have a blast meeting up with your brother.

Pam - your day sounds insane. I went to a circus once. I hope you have a great time.

My strike lasted a total of 5 days. He did do the kids laundry, made Nico lunch 2 days and made the kids dinner a few nights. That is more than he has done in the past 6 months he has been here. So, I guess it was successful.

pam - my life is a circus, i enjoy them, despite what cruelty to animal folks say...they make quite a protest when the circus comes to town in PIT. PS all my kids have ridden the elephant (me too); great fun!

caved & bought DS a real penguins jersey today (maulkin); i put it on CC & told him it would come out of his next 3 months allowances...thought he'd think twice; still wanted it. Very nice; yet they've sure gone up since the last jersey i bought (football). Beginning to think a large part of prof sports revenue is merchandising...same as Disney I bet. want to whip up some Test Thread t-shirts & sell them on ebay?
