Evening friends....I was enjoying Ed's pictures when I got rudely interrupted at work, them thinking I'm there TO work...

Anyway, those pictures are great! Your boys are growing so quickly! I hardly recognize them. Oh man, it looks like you had a blast. Love the hair cut photos and the one with you as a pirate!! COOL...guess it was still pretty warm down there, as it's been warm up our way and it is humid again this evening....I just don't get the weather right now. Supposed to be rain on it's way.

Gant, good to see ya KS, start planning that 08 trip....I know you and mac LOVE to plan How is the toother doing?

Pam, is your butt better tonight after the kicking it got last night?

About bedtime here. Yes, the butt feels better...just the pride still hurt I'll get over it though.

I think I am calling tomorrow and booking our vacation to WDW tomorrow. My friend's brother decided not to go and my friend is dragging her feet so I told her when she made the decisions that I asked her to make I will book her trip for her. I know I am bad about being indecisive but she is WAY worse than I will ever be. It is driving me CRAZY!!!!


On that note, I'm going to bed...hope everyone has a good sleep!! If you don't then PLEASE do NOT wake me up!!!!!

Just found out that Trent and Noah both have basketball games on Sunday at 3:00...looks like I am going to have to split myslef in two different people in order to watch them both. What a great way to spend an ann.

mic - it's fall here 'fer sure ; leaves looked good for a few days now they just look limp. All the ones on trees in yard are still green; usually the come down after the Xmas decs go up...wonder when they'll drop this year? Having fun with the family...don't forget pics!

gant - thanks, i'm such a whiner, esp. when it's teeth; think hitting that big 5-0 had something to do with them all going south @ the same time . Really, not looking forward to getting yet another cap started tomorrow. At least he doesn't think i need a root canal. Hope everyone is settled in @ your house; a big change in family dynamics when a "new" person enters the household.

pam - i must go back & read why your pride is hurt, hope all is well. Way cool for you as to booking today! Make sure you let us all know...i live for this stuff; it's my therapy I find it rather bizarre to be planning trips so early; yet we have to since DHs vacation time is def. inflexible and we have to book DVC @ 11 months to get what we want/prime time. I miss being spontaneous sometimes.

Evidently, my DS is closing on his new house Friday...not the original one though. Have a feeling they're biting off more than they can chew, since i wasn't presented the paperwork to review before closing/a FSBO. They're either playing dumb or are as to rate; i told them if they get stuck with an adjustable rate from the broker (since they're going "no money down"; not to come a-knocking on my door for $s). I'm a mean mom . Think i'm skipping the actual carrying of stuff this time (they're young & strong lol) & will show up w/DH to just assemble the furniture & bearing food & housewarming present - a tool box, fully loaded .

little issue with flight yesterday out of DCA.
flight was cancelled and had to get another one home.
made it a very long tuesday..........


have to do so much today but have 2 sons still asleep.
todd doesn't feel well and had to call into police station and take day off.

what bothers me the most was i planned to vacuum the house and now have to wait until someone is up. i feel too guilty making noise in the place when someone is sick.

this afternoon taking one son to a new doctor. hopefully, he will actually get in the car and go with me. last appt i had to cancel when he changed his mind about going.

it never ends.

looks like tony and ocm are mia still.........i read back and wonder how they are doing.

mic is in 7th heaven with her son and babies with her. i know this is a special time for her.

keisha is trip planning. i think that keeps her happy. it would me.

Hi everyone...quickie for me, but hate not checking in with my favorites friends!

Mac, so glad to see you back, hope the trip went well for you...sorry the guys are feeling under the weather, hope they start to feel better real soon

Pam, congrats on booking the trip, what did you decide on for hotel etc?

KS, hope son/dil are taking the right step with the house, you always worry, but as you say, they have to make their own decisions, right or wrong. They will be fine.

My doctor's office called today and my cat scan was rather inconclusive and I knew the florouscopy showed the hietal hernia...so because I'm still having discomfort, my up and down test has been rescheduled for Monday. Not looking forward to it, but perhaps it will show something that is causing me to have the discomfort. It means another lost day from work, but I'm glad it's moved up and going to be out of the way.

Had a good day, although a rainy drive, at Luray Caverns. It is all inside so the rain was not a bother. Virginia was a nice ride and the mountains were nice covered in very low clouds and sticking out on the tops. Luray is such an awesome work of nature place to visit. Amazes me.....

Ok, off to watch Animal Planet with gs, he is enjoying it and wants me to watch it with him.

I didn't get my trip booked today Malarie came to visit during nap time so I visited with her instead. I will call and book it tomorrow though. I have to do it during nap time because it is soooo loud in my house when the kids aren't sleeping

Mac--our dates are May 24-May 31. I know it will be a little crowded due to Memorial Day but that time works best for us. I know Trent and Noah will both probably have traveling baseball game(tourneys) but I guess they will just have to miss them...i'm not booking around them this year when they play till the middle of July. I refuse to go to disney again in July EVER!!!!

mac - yep, trip planning is the only thing that keeps me sane i like to run away from home.

pam - you book by phone? is there a reason you prefer it over the internet? If i'm not mistaken (where's that UG when you need it lol) even the end of May is less crowded than hot, sticky summer. Wish we could visit then; our school district prohibits vacations last 2 weeks of Aug, Sept & May/1st 2 weeks of June.

KS--I guess I figured that I called a lady to see the AAA saving so I better go through her. Our school will get out the Wed. before we will leave. If we have a bad winter and alot of snow days then the last day will be the Friday before we leave. Our school really doesn't have any policy on missing school for vacation but I have learned that it really isn't an option for us because Trent would get soooo far behind. So we try to stick with the summer months for our vacations.


Ed--Have a good time at WDW AGAIN! I tell ya, go 2 times and not even invite anyone to go in your luggage?!

Mic--how are the grandbabies doing? are you wore out yet?

Mac--work the next 2 days? what about resting first?

gant really did give up on the 3000...Mic got there for ya!!

tony and ocm--what is the deal with you not posting? did ya forget about us?

bob--has things been less crazy for your family since you have became a sahd?
