Test...Goal to 10

So is there a limit for posts in the boards? I keep seeing that I can only post a few then have to wait an hour. That makes is a bit of a grind to get to 10. Are these only certain types of posts?

You can just not do I think 3 an hour.

I've never run into only being allowed to post 3 times in one hour. In fact, I've been involved in many threads that we carried on intense discussions.

The "must wait XX minutes" thing is, as far as I know, part of the spambot prevention procedures here.

Randomly, people are alerted that they must wait XX time before posting again. Usually it's around 30 seconds. Occasionally it's longer. The length restrictions are assigned randomly and newbies as well as old-timers get hit with them.
