Hi, we are hoping to go for 2 weeks May / June 2010, unsure whether to stay onsite with deluxe dining or stay at a 5* offsite (muuuuuch cheaper) and pay for our meals. I'm thinking of saving my clubcard vouchers for the next year - has anyone does this? Does it ever work out cheaper, or do you end up paying brochure price? We will prob only have £1000 vouchers, not enough to pay in full.

Any thoughts? :cool1:

We booked a Virgin Holiday using Tesco Vouchers, this gave us £1,640 off the full price of the holiday. You have to pay full price and cannot include any discounts, so make sure that the Tesco saving far exceeds the 5% - 10% you could get by booking on line or through a travel agent.

We would have been able to get 5% online discount with Virgin Holidays, but that would have amounted to less than £400, so I am over £1,200 better off.

Tesco Clubcard vouchers are valid for 2 years, you then convert them into holiday tokens, valid for a further 6 months and this means that you can save Tesco Clubcard vouchers for 2½ years before booking the holiday.

We have booked the Animal Kingdom Lodge with the free dining using Tesco voucher's for this September. Paid for the full lot in voucher's only had to pay out for the park tickets. Process was a total breeze no problems and very helpful.

So you got the free dining, even though you paid with vouchers? That is great! Can I ask who you booked with? Was it Virgin? The full amount too - you must like Tesco!!;)

We booked today using vouchers, £1150 off the holiday. I did try to get discount as well but was told we could do one or the other - not both. Even with 10% off the vouchers worked out better. We saved these vouchers for over 1 year without spending excessively on our card. Roll on December.:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
