Does anyone know if Tesco credit card charge for use in USA? We are planning on using this in December and get points as well. pirate:

Yes, there is a 2.75% 'conversion' fee. If you have time before you go open an account with the Nationwide and get their debit and credit cards - no fees and fantastic exchange rates.

We've just returned from Italy and used our Nationwide credit card :thumbsup2
Just received the statement and we were given a Euro rate of 1.47, on most purchases, and no fees :cool1:

We used our Tesco Credit Card in April expecting a fee - but there wasn't one!

And the exchange rate was excellent.

Like most cards I imagine they don't detail the charge explicitly on the statement but it is used in their calculation.

Honestly couldn't see it - the amount spent was detailed with the exchange rate.

I suppose what I'm saying is it was good rate for purchases so maybe any fee was absorbed by that?
