Every summer I see little tiny ants in my dishwasher, and my kitchen sink and surrounding counter top. I have tried all types of traps and sprays. At the end of the summer I purchased Terro Liquid Ant Bait but was afraid to use it.
This summer I tried the liquid bait and the tiny ants were gone in two days.
Thanks for the tip on this board.

I read that earlier thread, too. I bought Terro and the ants were gone in a snap!! Great stuff--I'll remember this for next spring if I have another ant invasion.:thumbsup2

We use this every spring when those tiny black ants attack the kitchen sink. It always works.

Where can you buy it? I am desperate to get rid of these ants, nothing is working!

You can get it at Target or Wal-Mart.

I just had a problem with pharaoh ants, teeny tiny little red ants that you can barely see. I used the cheapest Raid bait and they were 95% gone overnight and 100% within 24 hours.

I too try it for the first time a month ago and in two days the ants were gone. I threw the trap away about 2 weeks ago and still don't have any ants.

After years of dealing with ants every spring I finally tried this. Found some at Lowe's and it worked right away. Also helped me to pinpoint exactly where they were coming in the house, so I have a trap 'standing guard' in case any newbies find the path into the house. I'll definitely be buying more for next year!

A couple months ago we sprayed the yard and our house got taken over! One morning we were fine, I stopped home after work and saw a couple in the kitchen... went out to buy this stuff and a couple hours later walked in to dozens of ants wandering the kitchen floor. (lets not mention the counters) I put one trap out and within the hour ants were crawling over eachother to get to it - we had 3 different kinds! It was like a horror film. I spent the weekend at my parents' house with the kids and just went back to refill the traps. I think we set out 10. The first couple days I would stop home 3x/day and some of them would be empty each time.

It took about a week but we haven't had any ants since then. The only complaint I have- when there are that many it's almost like they left a sticky film behind once the ants had ingested it so we had to wash EVERYTHING ants were on. Still totally worth it.

Oh thank you so much for this tip! I am going to go out today to get one. The stupid little ants seem resistant to everything!!!

We are having a horrible time with them this year. I was going to call an exterminator out, but I think I will try this. At least ants don't freak me out. Mice or roaches . . . they can have the house - just hope they make the house payment for us.
;)

Just be patient, it can take a week to kill them. When you put out the trap you will see them go back to where they are coming in. Move the trap closer and just let them bring the poison back to their nest. I had one spot this year, a door jam of a home office and it took a good week. Other locations have been faster in the past.
