Oops I overslept!!!!!

A man was found murdered on Sunday morning. His wife immediately called the police. The police questioned the wife and staff and got these alibis:
The Wife said she was sleeping.
The Cook was cooking breakfast.
The Gardener was picking vegetables.
The Maid was getting the mail.
The Butler was cleaning the closet.

The police instantly arrested the murdered. Who did it and how did they know?

we seem to have missed the brunt of this cold front, going to be 50 again here in NH....

This NEVER happens to us!!!! So I'm enjoying it while I can!!!!

Figures the first year we DONT go up north, there is NO SNOW!!!

This sounds just like "Crack the Case" which we haven't played for a while so I'm a little bit rusty!

DH and DS left for work to go put on a new roof. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I sent them off with hot coffee and hot soup for lunch.
