Terrible service at Ohana

I don't suppose this was on November 17th of this year???


lol no it was in may...it was gross, we did not even stay to talk with the mang. I called when I got home and he sent me that letter right out!

We sat next to a family two years ago, with a sick child. The mess was never cleaned up, even after they left. Our service during the meal was indifferent. As soon as he brought the tab, we left cash on the table and walked out. DH was too furious to speak calmly to our server or a manager. Even though we love staying at the Poly, we will Never Again waste our time or $$$ on Ohana.
 
We ate there for Dinner Monday and Breakfast Tuesday.

Dinner was fabulous, waitstaff was very nice, got us everything we needed in a timely manner.

Breakfast was another story. We missed Lilo by a table or two and she never made it around to us again. Waitress couldnt be found for quite a while when we just wanted our bill to leave. She wasnt thrilled either that hubby asked for more biscuits. She asked if she could get us anything else and when he said yes, she had a look on her face like "What? You want something else??"

She was probably more annoyed when it took her so long to bring the biscuits and in the meantime the waffle lady came, so he got more waffles. When she finally came with the biscuits, he was full, so they were left at the table!!!

It all depends on the server! I would still go back and hope for a different server!

That was probably the server we had in May. She brought out the syrup after we finished our waffles! She forgot it and then when our daughter asked for it, we kindly asked if she could bring it out and she made some comment about forgetting and then disappeared for forever. She also forgot our drinks too. We also had to buss our own tables as well. Forgot to mention that when we discussed our issues - length of breakfast, very long wait with ADRs, cold food, server issues and very long character interaction (they actually forgot to come to us) - they said that they allot 2 hours for each family for breakfast in order that everyone enjoys the characters. I told them that they were totally out of touch in that a 2 hour breakfast is exactly why people are waiting an hour to be seated even with ADRs, servers are grumpy and characters get confused. This conversation just made my head hurt, so we left, never to return again!
