Terrible Experience -POR RIV

when you are staying in a value resort there are no 'preferred' views. There are 'preferred' buildings. They do not have the same 'view' system that the other resorts have. At Music, the preferred bldg is Calypso, at Pop it's the 60's bldgs....at Movies and Sports I'm not nearly as sure, so will keep my mouth shut on them. But, you can't request, and pay extra for, a pool view. At least that was the case the times I've stayed in them. It could have changed but that was the case in August.
Anyway....just wanted to clear up any misconceptions about 'views' at the values.

How does this clear up anything about the views at POR which is not a value resort but is a moderate? POR does have preferred views for which they do charge. We have never stayed at value resorts but regularly stay at moderates and while I can't speak for ever single one-CBR and POR both charge for "views".

As to the OPs stay-While I love Disney, I can honestly say that the quality of service is slipping in comparison to what it was 10-15 years ago. I have experienced "Disney Magic" and I have experienced "Disney Angst". It seems that in the past few years there has been more of the latter and less of the former! I think there should be a board (or at least of sticky) of "remember whens" so that maybe the WORLD can be reminded of the roots that established the Kingdom.
