Anyone got a good recommendation for a pest control company?

I've got termites attacking my fence in the back 1/4 of the yard. They have not hit the house yet.

Terminex came out today and quoted $1250 for their Sentricon system. Sounds high and btw, does sentricon work anyway? Also got another company coming out tomorrow for another quote.

We recently had to have our home retreated. The company used a new product called Termidor. Supposedly, it actually kills the critters rather than the old style that was just a barrier. The cost for the treatment was about $5.00 per linear foot. I can't say how well it works, but it did come with a 5 year warranty.

Do you know how Termidor works? Is it a National company?
