I participated in the 2011 spring internship program. I got terminated 1 month before graduation for trying to sneak in my friend into the complex after hours and before getting termed, I told them I wanted to try to get back into the company and they told me I was on a no-rehire list for exactly 1 year. I tried to apply for the 2012 fall intership program and I got denied. I'm hoping the reason was because at the time that I applied, it was still not 1 year yet. Does anyone know how I can get back into the company at this time?

Rehire statuses don't expire.

They can be lifted if one applies again and, based on their interview, is asked to complete additional paperwork for review, and then the group who does the review gives the OK.

Those who are issued a "No" or "Restricted" rehire status, can apply again after 6 months. Those who receive a "Yes" rehire status don't have a time limit to wait.

That being said, just because one can apply again, doesn't necessarily mean that one will be asked to move forward to an interview. Or even if they interview, be asked to complete the rehire paperwork.

Your option is pretty much to give it another shot and see what happens.

Thank you for your answer! I posted on a different website and I was told there is no way I will ever be rehired. I really hope that is not true because it's my dream to work for Disney.
