Terminal C baggage claim

Any recent experiences with baggage claim in Terminal C as far as how long the wait to get your luggage? I am flying in to terminal C on jetblue and due to health issues cannot do my usual carry-on so I will be checking my bag.
How close is baggage claim to a car service pick up area?

I flew into Terminal C at the end of October. I did not have checked bags, but when I was making conversation with the towncar driver he said that he has heard of people standing around waiting at the appropriate baggage claim area in Terminal C only to discover that their bags were sent to the other baggage claim area. It sounded like they were in two different areas in Terminal C, not far apart. He said if you're waiting and waiting, send someone over to the other side to check.

I flew into Terminal C on JetBlue in late September. Baggage claim was definitely a hike from the gate, it is up a couple of escalators (don't remember how many, they were in different locations). It's a nice terminal, but huge. I waited for about 15-20 minutes for luggage. This was late at night, one of the last arriving flights. Once we had the luggage, we walked right out the doors near the carousel to where we were picked up. That was the shortest walk!

Flew back into Terminal C on Thanksgiving Day. Wait for luggage was probably less than 20 minutes.
