Term Paper on Disney

I am taking a business class and our techer wants us to do a term paper on a business topic using an actual corperation. So i thought why not write about disney world. I thought that would be soo easy to write about. Well turns out they is alot going on in disney world and i don't know where to start. Does anyone have any suggestions for an idea??? That is an understatement! Not sure what topics are in-bounds for you, but a few things to consider.

• Marketing: Disney recently announced its new marketing campaign “What will you celebrate?” This decision was in part based on research that many people are taking “celebration vacations”. Lookup Celebration Vacations and see what Disney is doing and why it might be good.

• Environmental policy: Look into “Environmentality” at WDW...conservation projects, saving energy, etc. The Enviroport online is a great resource.

• Operations: Examine the “Disney Approach to Customer Service”…how Cast Members are trained, how leadership is taught and what’s behind the Vision and Purpose at WDW.

Hope that gets your mind going. I'm sure others will have ideas as well. Let me know if you need resources related to any of them…I could point you in the right direction.

hmm maybe you can do some research on how it stared and where the idea came from and have that as a beginning and then roll into the rest
