Sunny - I don't remember buying those saddlebags either :earseek: I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that feels that way around TOM. Doesn't it just amaze you how our moods can change so quickly and without warning (poor DH :earboy2: )



Today has been a busy day. I was able to do 60 minutes on the ellptical machine and 15 minutes on the treadmill, mostly just to cool down. I did buy those size 10 jeans today, but they are still a little tighter in the butt than I like, so didn't wear them too long. But I guess just the fact that I was able to purchase my first size 10 pants in my adult life is enough to make me happy :teeth: Helped out in Katie's class today and also the library. Food today has been slimfast for breakfast, granola bar, WW meal for lunch, granola bar and a string cheese. Tonight is our monthly Del Taco night to help raise money for the school and I have saved plenty of points so I could enjoy a taco or two. I know tomorrow I will have to drink plenty of water, but I'm not concerned too much about it. Might not get to the gym tomorrow since I am going on a field trip with Jessica's class and we're leaving at 9:30am. I'll just plan to have a good workout Friday and not worry about it. Trying to stay focused for my 2.2 pounds this week, but with TOM coming, who knows what my poor body will do. I can't WAIT to see 159 on the scale :cool1: Getting close to my 150 cruise goal :sunny:

I'M GLAD TO SEE THAT I'M NOT THE ONLY WITH THAT PROBLEM!! We've got movies EVERYWHERE!! I guess Mulan II should be on the way...saddlebags, movies...same-same...
 
Jen - Too funny, :rotfl: I was actually thinking I'm going to give mine names, like Fabio and Hudson or something like that. Someone asked me why I would give them guy names and I said like men... they just won't leave ;)

Well today has been a LONG day and it's only 2:30. Dropped kids off at school and then headed to the gym. Wasn't able to get much of a workout in... about 15 minutes on weights, working out just the legs and then 30 minutes on the glider. I did some ab exercises and then I had to leave. I was helping out with Jessica's field trip today, so I had to head over to the school. We ended up not leaving till later, so I could have worked out longer. Oh well.... :rolleyes:

We went to the Denver Museum to see the IMAX of Mystery of the Nile. It was VERY good. Kids were pretty good, considering they were 7th graders. Had lunch after, eating very little of my sandwich since it was squished. I hate squished bread :earseek: I ate a granola bar and 2 WW carrot cakes. Not as much water as usual since I had to sit during the movie, but will catch up soon. Weather has turned cold quickly with snow on the way. Why can't spring just stay :sunny: :sunny: The weather is very depressing to me and it doesn't help with TOM coming. Just keep thinking that we leave in 42 days!!! :cool1: :cool1:

You are doing great. I m sure you will reach your cruise goal. I know you are waiting patiently for the 150's, but with TOM, please be kind to yourself. I am sending :wizard: to help with the dreaded TOM.

TOM really does mess with your emotions! I was very hateful this past week! I'm so glad it's over. It's like a light switch!!

Way to go with the size 10 jeans!! I love the names for your saddlebags. Me..I hate my arms!!! The batwings drive me nuts!!

Well I never got a chance to post yesterday, so I'm going to try and catch things up. Friday: Weighed myself and I was 163. I know it's water, but TOM, my mood is just BLAH :earseek: I helped out in Katie's class before the gym. They got to have waffles in celebration of their half day and beginning of spring break.

I didn't have time to get my usual two hours in at the gym *pouts* I was able to get 20 minutes on the stairmaster, 20 minutes on the ellptical and 30 minutes on the treadmill. I find it harder and harder to find the time to get good workouts in. I headed home, got my shower in and then met a friend at TGI Fridays for lunch. I had a Gardenburger & small salad with a beer (about 12 points total)

Last night we had Happy Hour at the neighbors, and I tried to be as good as I could, considering :rolleyes: I had about 1 1/2 cups of claim chowder, a large salad and a slice of cheese bread. I had one drink, but pretty much went with water and diet sprite the rest of the night. I did slurge and have some dessert. One of our friends brought this Easter bunny cake, made with marshmellow icing :earboy2: I had a small piece and it was DEVINE!!!!

Well today I woke up early and couldn't go back to sleep. The scale said 163.5 :guilty: I decided I should go to the gym and work off some of that cake from last night :rolleyes: I did 40 minutes on the glider and 45 minutes on the treadmill. This is probably the first time I've ever worked out on Saturday and it was nice. Gets me going in the morning..... I did some leg exercises and then I was done. Went by the grocery store and picked some things up for dinner tomorrow.

Tonight is bowling, but I don't plan on drinking much, if at all. Need to be good till Tuesday :teeth:
 
Well today is Easter and I feel BLAH...

Kids got us up early this morning... you'd think it was Christmas. :earseek: After they found all their eggs and baskets, I made a cherry danish that I had bought through a school fundrasier. I had one very small slice...

For lunch I had a lean cuisine and I've been drinking water like mad. For dinner, we had ham, mashed potatoes, salad, veggies and dinner rolls. I had a small bit of ham and mashed potatoes, lots of salad, lots of veggies and one roll. Now I did eat some ham early on, while getting dinner ready. :rolleyes: We had angle food cake, strawberries and ff cool whip for dessert and I'm STUFFED. I know probably went over my points by a few, but not going to worry about it too much. Tomorrow I'm staying well below my points and hope for the best on Tuesday. I can feel TOM coming any day now. I wish it would come so I can get it over with. Guess I won't be seeing my 159 this week, but it'll happen next week::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

I know exactly what you mean about kids rising early!!! DD sure did! It is still fun to watch, but I was whipped after from getting up early and getting over this bug!

Well today I am sooooo dragging :faint: I had to get up at 5:00am to take some friends to the airport. Made record time and went straight to the gym at 7:45am. I did 20 minutes on weights, 40 minutes on stairmaster, 45 minutes on the treadmill and 15 minutes on the bike. I was really having a hard time since I started TOM this morning and I'm cramping and just feel BLAH. Got home, but had to leave right away to take Jessica to the orthodontic. She should be getting braces off in the next month or so and she's very excited :banana: Got home again and made a 3 egg white omelette. My stomach just isn't doing well today... Left again to take Jessica to the dentist this time and then off to shopping we went. Those girls can SHOP :crazy: We hit Payless Shoes, Target, another shoe place (can't think of the name right now), TJ Maxx and JC Penny's :crazy: :crazy: Those girls would have kept going if I didn't whine about not feeling well :rolleyes: I did find a cute dress at TJ Maxx for $17. I first tried on the size 13 (juniors), but actually got the size 9. Figure once I lose another 11 pounds, it'll look just perfect :teeth:

Food today has been pretty good... slimfast for breakfast, granola for snack, 3 egg omelette w/ peppers & onions and toast for lunch, koshi bar for snack and a salad to get me through till dinner. The girls and I will be having salmon for dinner since Nick has a interview tonight. I think I'll take a bunch of midols and got to bed early. :earboy2: Tomorrow I'll get up early and head to the gym before weigh in. I doubt I'll lose much if anything, which is okay. Next week I know it'll be better.

Sounds like quite the shopping adventure! I bet it really would have been one if you would have felt better!

Well today is another BLAH day. Got up and went to the gym... I did get 80 minutes on the treadmill, but just wasn't feeling 100%

WW wasn't exciting since I just stayed the same. In 7 months, I've never been exactly the same. Of course, with TOM, I'm not going to complain. I feel like I have about 5 pounds of water :crazy: Next weeks WI will be awesome and I know I'll be seeing those 150's :banana:

Kids are off, so I'll have to take them bowling with me today... lucky me ;) I'm sure by tomorrow I'll be feeling better and this water should be gone in the next few days.

I agree w/ Sunny! We need to boycott TOM!! I'm still trying to flush that week away!! ( I don't think it's all fluid either...but it's still TOM's fault!)

Sorry to hear there was no loss...but at least there was no gain either!!

Thanks Beth and Gail - I was probably expecting more of a gain today, so staying the same is just fine. I know next week this will be all gone and I'll be back at it.



Well just a quick note before I head to bed. Food has been pretty good all day, slimfast & string cheese before weigh in, WW meal for lunch, 100 calorie snack at the bowling alley and lots of water so far. Decided to go with Nick tonight to bowling and we stopped and had a bite to eat before. I ordered this southwestern turkey sandwich that ended up having BACON on it :earseek: and was like GRILLED :earseek: :earseek: I knew I shouldn't have eated it, but I did :guilty: Also ate fries with it and had a beer :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: Needless to say I was sick after that and even though I had one more beer at the bowling alley, I did drink this quart size cup of water. I told Nick that if I was going to cheat so bad, I'd rather have it be something that I liked better. It just didn't do it for me, but I still ate it :sad2: :sad2:

Oh well.... more water before bed and definitely some hard core cardio tomorrow and it'll be fine. I am feeling alittle better... tummy is feeling good and cramps aren't so bad. Tomorrow will be much better :sunny: :sunny:

Got up before 7:00am and was at the gym by 7:30am. Did 30 minutes on the weights, really working out the legs. Did 60 minutes on the ellptical and 40 minutes on the treadmill. Dropped Katie off at a friends and then Jessica and I started doing some packing for the cruise :earboy2:

Food today has been good... slimfast for breakfast, granola for snack, Healthy Choice for lunch, steamed shrimp & veggies (Nick ordered Chinese),WW ice cream for dessert and 94% ff popcorn while watching LOST. Water has been really good and hope to see a loss on the scale tomorrow.

A storm has hit us tonight and suppose to drop 2-4 inches by morning :crazy: I still plan to get up early and get to the gym, even if I just get in an hour of cardio. Weather will warm up again by Friday and snow should be gone :sunny:
