Tequila Lunch during F&W?

We have tickets this weekend and I wanted to know if anyone has done it this season?

We have done the tequila lunch twice now, last year and this year. Both times we have thoroughly enjoyed it. Guess we wouldn't have gone back a second time if we didn't like it the first time!

You start with a welcome margarita. Last year they let us have an extra drink on the way out, this year they did not. They also tell you about the 3 different kinds of tequila, and pair each one with a course of the meal. The food was absolutely awesome. Not sure if they are serving the same food at each lunch, or if it varies. We had a scallop ceviche, a creamy sweet potato soup, pork belly and octopus, and a tres leches cake.

It's a great overall experience, and the food is not necessarily what you think of when you think of Mexican food. If it fits in our schedule, we will return next year as well. Enjoy!

We are super excited- well, I am- my husband only drinks margaritas, whereas I like tequila, on the rocks usually.

I am trying to find out if anyone has this year's food servings. My husband doesn't like fish so I am hoping it will be like a couple of years ago where I think they had a serving of fish and beef- I can split that with him and eat the fish and he eat the beef. But I mean really? Why wouldn't you like fish?

They were asking when we checked in if people had allergies or even preferences. I do not eat red meat so I told them that, but our meal was fine for me the way it was. If he doesn't eat the fish part, I'd ask if they could do 2 parts of the meat. Good luck!
