Any reviews? Has anyone eaten there recently? :confused3
We would like to give it a try for something different..thanks

We ate there last month. We had 7:00pm ADRs and arrived at about 6:50. We waited about 15 minutes for a table. People without ADRs were being told to expect a 45 to 60 minute wait. Our waitress was ok. She took beverage orders and delivered the first drinks quickly. She didn't return until the family we were sitting with sent another waitress to find her. Our chef, on the other hand, was excellent. He was very talkative, engaged everyone in conversation, took an interest in where everyone was from, told jokes, and basically created a nice ambiance while he was preparing our meals. He was also very skilled with the knife and food tricks, which is always a crowd-pleaser. DD6 had the kid-size shrimp and DD7 had the kid-size chicken. DW had steak and shrimp, and I had the steak and chicken. Each dinner came with seaweed salad, noodles, grilled vegetables, and a cup of steamed rice. All of the food was very good. Our bill was $115, including tip and two adult beverages. We would recommend Teppanyaki. :thumbsup2

Here's a link to their menu:

We went in 10/05, and 12/04, and was not impressed either time. The food is "ok", but that's about it. None of the 6 in our group thought that it was even close to the Japanese restaurants at home. It really is a nice break in the day, but we won't be going back anytime soon. :(

We were there two weeks ago. Maybe not outstanding Japanese food, but we could not find fault with it.

I had scallops & steak, DIL and DGD had shrimp & steak. They also had sushi which they enjoyed very much.

It was a fun evening with good food. I would go back again.

If you are accustomed to Benihana, you aren't going to get what you expect here. The food is significantly more bland than the average hibachi steakhouse. If you have never had hibachi before (or don't have it very often), you'll probably enjoy it, but you should know that there are much better hibachi options out there.

We have ADR's for when we go in March. I am looking forward to it. We will report back after our trip.

a lot of people here seem to enjoy it. it's a fun atmosphere, but the food is just OK in my opinion.

We've found the food to be excellent, not different than any other Teppenyaki restaurant. The chefs are good - though not as showy as some Teppenyaki chef's I've seen. The waitresses usually don't seem to be enjoying themselves - most of them don't have very good English and Asian politeness is very different - so they come across as cold, but I think its cultural.

It is pricier than our local places, but we still enjoy it.

Agree with LongIsland - we go to BeniHanna in CherryHill, NJ and it really can't compare. If you haven't been to a hibatchi style before, you may enjoy it. Chefs can be entertaining - enjoy the onion volcano - they don't accept Disney Dining Experience Discount which can make it kinda pricey. Better than takeout...

We try to go every trip.It is cheaper at lunch so we sometimes book a really late lunch and then just snack for dinner later.Last time DD had a yummy vegetarian meal there and DH raves about the sushi(fear factor food to me) I loved the filet steak.DS liked the chicken and fruit salad. The chef made a volcano out of an onion which was cool. He did a lot of tricks w/salt and the shrimp tails. He made jokes and talked to the kids.We were seated w/another family w/kids similar age and it was nice.
