I originally planned to eat at Rose-n-Crown at 7:30 and then watch Illuminations. Now I am wondering wether DS (7) and DS (5) would have more fun at Teppanyaki (because they can watch the chef). Opinions please and also is it hard to get a spot to watch Illuminations from Teppanyaki? TIA :cool1:

They would probably enjoy watching the chef, but the fish and chips are AWESOME at R&C. I don't know about getting a good spot for Illuminations. We try and find a spot about a half hour before fireworks start.

We did Teppanyaki last year. It was okay. Our chef wasn't hte most animated. I thought DD5 would love it and she really didn't. I want to try R&C this time around.

Hmm...we like Teppanyaki better. We had the same chef a year later and he remember us! Pretty amazing. :)

We werent the least bit impressed with Rose and Crown. The staff was rude, we waited an hour for a table even with priority seating and the food was so so. We ate at Teppenyaki last year and enjoyed the food, chef and atmosphere. We would go to Teppenyaki again for sure.

While I do enjoy watching the chefs prepare the food at Japanese steakhouses (my last experience at one being a very enjoyable night even though it wasn't at WDW), I'm a bit partial to the Brits.

Now if they just had real mushy peas and a bottle of brown sauce for their fish and chips, I'd be in heaven!
